  1. Anybody have the skinny on what the Sox offer to Ellsbury was? Just curious.
  2. Wait, I thought we all agreed that The Kinks are overrated.
  3. I have one set that we leave up year-round on the back porch but they are mini lanterns and are enclosed under the edging of the back porch roof.
  4. I "compete" with my neighbor by "nailing" his wife while he's at work.
  5. Cool. My project involves listening to GD from '65-'95 randomly, yet I do get hooked on certain tunes and/or years from time to time. Went through A LLR phase a few summers ago that continues to this day. Tend to hit early '80s a lot, too, these days.
  6. It's an old firehouse that these young kids are turning into a brewery with about 25-30 seats. Nothing new on that front, but still cool that it's a couple blocks from my house in a mostly residential neighborhood. I swung in there on Sunday driving by and the kid said about 2 weeks to go. Wish it was now as we may be snowed/frozen in the next couple days.
  7. Flee to the brew pub they are opening 2 blocks from my house?
  8. Like, exclusively, whenever you listen to GD you only listen to the next show?
  9. Radiohead are creepy. I have 4 boys and don't even really know what they listen to. I think the 13 yr likes that Deadmouse guy. At least his fb page says he does.
  10. "There Ain't No Hole in the Washtub"- Emmett Otter's Jug-Band Christmas.
  11. The answer is "The Little Drummer Boy" you dolts! But not the Bing/Bowie one. That one's a little creepy.
  12. Yep. Had a chance to meet him briefly at Telluride Bluegrass Fest over a decade ago. Funny little story but he was very humble.
  13. I went to this show, as well. Very solid show. Great Midnight Hour opener, very good Stagger Lee, first set Crazy Fingers, and excellent second set,
  14. I'll say it again but I don't mind his slide work at all.
  15. It's actually for my ex-wife. She's a Tweedy nut. Thanks.
