Love his version but the original LF version still kicks its ass. There's some good outtakes stuff from when Lowell George was producing Shakedown St. for the band. If no one here has heard it, seek it out. A great version of Good Lovin' with Lowell singing lead= awesome as hell.

Went to the Worcester show the night before with a Terrapin second set opener and an "I Just Wanna Make Love To You." Told my folks I was going to look at colleges in MA and NH. That SPAC '84 was fun, too. It had been raining pretty hard before the show and the rain stopped and the sun came out as Dancin' opened the show.

I'm guessing in a library and honey tea w/ biscuits.

I'll go out on a limb and say it's a show that most of us already have a very good/excellent recording of.....

Here's the best tip I can give on Red Rocks that not a lot of folks seem to know about: To avoid the steep hike to get into the venue, there is a free shuttle that starts in the lower lot and brings you to the top. This is for every show. Once at the very top, you have a minimal set of stairs to scale and you are at the top of the venue. Also: The lower lot is the Shakedown lot, but won't be happening at a Steely Dan show....
