And Pujols still would have won.

What non Wilco song can't you get enough of these days

"Son," - Golden Smog. My 1.5 year old made me play it three times last night and he had some tight moves to go with it. He attempted something close to The Worm a few times. -
Fonzie jumping the shark in that episode meant the show had turned for the worse. This has always been my understanding of the phrase.

Oops, missed this earlier. Happy birthday to you. :badger :badger

I know the GD shared a bill with him a few times in the early 70s and Garcia played on a few tracks on of one of his albums. Coleman also joined the GD on stage a few times in the 90s.....

I went into the show knowing next to nothing about them and hadn't even heard a tune of theirs before. I guess I just wasn't much in the mood for the extravaganza and fanfare. I read a decent review of the show, though. I'm glad you had fun.

I'd say it's well-earned, as well.

I've had difficulty getting into Frisell, possibly due to the reasons cited above....

Pujols named NL MVP: http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20...sp&c_id=mlb

Such strict guidelines to adhere to. What does the winner recieve?

Which reminds me of one of my favorite second sets with an UJB split up: St. Paul. MN '81 Samson and Delilah, Althea, Estimated Prophet -> Eyes Of The World -> Drums -> Space -> Uncle John's Band -> Playing In The Band -> China Doll -> Uncle John's Band -> Playin... The transition from China Doll back into UJB is fantastic.

True. The Super Bowl is but one game and anybody at any time could win that game, I suppose.

Hah! I went last night and left after the 4th tune. Not my cup-o-tea. Glad you enjoyed it Griddles. p.s. I always thought Griddles was ction. That's odd.

Does it really matter if you're "bad" and have a 10-0 record? I don't think it does.

Her dad was a peripheral friend of the band back then and put out a shitty book a bunch of years ago. From what I've gathered he wasn't very well received in the family/circle after too long.

The Lincoln comparison might ring true if he pushes through with appointments of his opponents/adversaries/republicans to his cabinet. I think that'll go a long way.

There's a kid who is believed to be the reincarnation of Buddah living right now. His name is not Barak. The change we'll see in this country will be profound?

Which Nirvana tune did she swipe? I'm not a big Courtney Love fan as she annoys the ever-loving shit out of me as much as the next guy, but she can belt a tune.

And...? Rock & Roll revolves around theft. Still a good album.
-
Both very good albums, particularly Celebrity Skin. I don't care if Billy Corgan or whomever helped write it/whatever- it's an enjoyably good album.
-
I always like their version of "Torn & Frayed," as well as "Silver Train."
-
He sang it a few times when he was with Phil & Friends in '05. Here's a nice version: http://www.archive.org/details/pf2005-12-04_dsbd Just today picked up a ticket to BCs at the Fillmore next month.

Poca, hope you have a splendid day. :badger :badger

I don't know man, he's pretty damn old.

How is Rod's voice these days? Obviously decent enough to do this, but...
