  1. I always assumed The Cure and The Smiths were the same band. There should be a wing in the "museum" just for mopey emo Brit-Pop bands of the 80s/90s.
  2. Popper's looking pretty good these days, even after his recent baby....
  3. Hey that's a good deal and the first time I've seen anything from the Estate cheaper than it goes for on Amazon....
  4. They're still sround though I think with only 1-2 original members (Tortelvis is still singing).....
  5. The audio cd for this (Jerry on Jerry) interview book is listed on Amazon at $76.99. Yikes.
  6. This would be, for me, almost as terrifying as finding out there's no Santa Claus.
  7. I wore cut-off jeans mid-thigh in the 80s. Bobby wore them scrotum-high....
  8. Maybe Ireland or South Padre Island or FLA or Grand Lake. Maybe none of those, too. I'm open to suggestions, no matter how far-fetched as long as it's not too far-fetched.
  9. It'd be cool if they did a series on DSO and got guys to play the DSO guys playing the GD guys.
  10. I like to think of them as long shorts, which is a much better look for him at his current age than if he were wearing the alternative shorts he sported throughout the 80s....
  11. It'd be cool to take a day and check that property out (Mickey's Olomali house where the office, studio, etc. were)....
  12. Oh wow, I always thought it was tied to the 50th stuff for some reason. This is good to know!
  13. Seriously. Surprised Weir wants a hand in it, too. re: Scorsese film. Did this actually even happen? I'd read back and forth articles about it being on/off. Again, though, it's the 50th stuff, which doesn't impress me too much. I'd watch just because it's a Scorsese deal, though.
  14. Sorry, I meant vaginal canal.
  15. All good stuff. My only advice on parenting a baby, take it or leave it, is don't be afraid to spank her. You need to show who's in charge right out of the gate. Especially those first few months. Crucial. I'll likely take the kids to see Star Wars in the spring or summer when tickets become available.
  16. I've been pretty good. Had to drop my shrink recently and in the hunt for a new one! It was a bit awkward doing it via e-mail. Not as awkward as my first visit with him, but still. I've also started wearing my bi-focals more regularly because it improves my vision, apparently. My ribs have healed from a few tumbles down two different sets of stairs a month or so ago, so that's been bun being able to move and breathe and sneeze and cough without the pain. How have you been?
  17. Watched The Graduate (wife had never seen it) and Grease on Saturday night. They both seemed the same as last time I'd watched them (though I watched them disjointedly as I was excusing myself from the room for a lot for breaks).
  18. The politics of bbq sauce can get nasty.
  19. Save a prayer for them. I hope they don't come undone, though, if they never get nominated. It's a natural reflex....
  20. Yessir. There are too many guns that are too easily available for too many unstable and/or reliable people. The NRA, with massive political clout, consistently lobbies against gun control to feed their own agenda. But I need my gun for hunting!
  21. Doesn't sound like there's a lot anyone can do. Dude's gonna hit his rock bottom eventually.
  22. Nice. Saw him with Hard Working Americans at Ogden last year.
  23. Yeah, good idea even though I dislike having to read while I'm watching t.v., unless I'm trying to read if my wife wants me to, y'know....
