There have been 2 docs made about Moore recently, I'm too lazy to look up the titles. One was a hatchet job from conservative haters. Another was more balanced. That one has a segment about the scene in Bowling in Columbine where Moore walks out of a bank w/ a shotgun. That entire scene was completely scripted and fabricated. Moore has a very tenuous relationship with the truth and an ego bigger than his waist. Reminds me a lot of Beck. I happen to disagree with both of their extremist viewpoints. He played my college (Luther in Decorah, IA probably in 1990). I'm pretty sure he opened and closed with Devo songs, which was pretty cool. The show was great for someone whose music I didn't really care about. Some of his recent releases have been great. I like Camp Meeting.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst. That's how my sister-in-law's dad went. Never a big fan of his movies (Red Dawn is a guilty pleasure), but I will remember him fondly from the Chris Farley Chippendales skit on SNL.
