  9. Tried my best to download the show but no disc. Any chance it can be put up on etree? DIme a dozen would even work. Thanks for posting. I am sure there is some grey matter missing preventing me from understanding how to do it on this platform
  10. Great recaps... there was also the Dr Strangelove impression at the end of the first interaction with Ulirich the German which was quiet but still funny. Also.. after screen door, Jeff put out a little ditty about rock-n-roll's necessary disregard for grammar citing Led Zepplin that went something like "Honey, you need more education, I am not kidding, Going to send you back for a fuller education'''" at which point he conceded that that sounded even worse. There was also a small portion on Wilco's decision not to sell their "Make Wilco Great Again" hats. Jeff claims that it started out fu
  11. i was looking for one for Saturday, but not sure that helps you out much...
  12. Good luck! If you can't make a trade, I am looking for a Saturday night ticket up close (will take them both if you need to get rid of both of them.) You can PM me or just respond here if the trade doesn't work out. Thanks!
  13. Something funky about this one. Tried to get tickets when they were released and they were immediately sold out. Went by the box office yesterday but it was closed (to be fair, there was a pretty good snowstorm overnight), Had a call back from a gal who runs the theater and she was fairly adamant that no tickets were going to be released and nothing was available at the door. She ended the conversation with "even if tickets become available we are not going to sell any more". So I hope that they raise a hell of a lot of money for Ibrahim and help him stay here. Sort of get the feeling they so
  14. Must have missed it. Tried t get on there this afternoon but no dice. Last time they played the Pritzker Pavilion it was a fantastic show. It's been my avatar here since the show. Will try for tickets again tomorrow.
  15. was going to head out there today and see if there was tickets to be had at the box office but the snow kept me away. Oh well. If anything pops up last minute I can get there. PM me
  16. Anyone making it to Three Oaks MI this Friday for Jeff's benefit? Tickets went fast but I wonder who will make it? I'll be in Michigan City, but currently am ticketless.
  17. Thanks. So far it's us and the crickets.
  18. Yeah that was fast. Took about 1 minute. Whooooosh!
  19. Let the begging begin! Would love to see Jeff at the Acorn. Looking for 1 or 2 tickets.
  20. I felt really bad for Jeff and that crowd was awful as was the entire organization of the event. But it was weird before the performers got on stage. They sold regular tickets and VIP tickets. Whenever Jeff does a charity gig, I try to do VIP 1) to be close and 2) to support the cause as best I can. But the front area of the stage was General admission, that was half full of chairs, half empty. The VIP section, which was half heavy Tweedy fans and half corporate sponsors was in the middle, and in reality, anyone who wanted to sit there, sat there. Other than providing funds for a good cause, t
  21. Arrgh How did I miss this?? My own daughter is a tutor in 826chi and I didn't know about it. Sweet day in the morning.
  22. I went to both shows this years and last years and it's an intimate show, but it's clear that Jeff's either not that into it or feels the audience is not that into it. I don't know. Maybe it's partly because it's during the year-end hiatus where Jeff's usually in the studio and the mix of comedy and great music aren't meshing? There's no disconnect in my mind, but I get the feeling that the audience gets a lot of laughs and is just reacting to the hilarity and then the engagement that usually feed a great Jeff/ WIlco performance is different than a music performance? Hard to put into words but
