  1. As I've read, this wasn't the happiest moment for either party.
  2. I'd second that. Hate his music, but i'd hang out with him. http://www.tv.com/video/170/can-white-peop...isode-clip?o=tv
  3. Nah, she's reaching to make change for your 20 dollar bill.
  4. Maybe Larry is serious: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090107/ap_en_...y_flynt_lawsuit
  5. I just assumed ol' Hustler boy was having a little fun.
  6. Alright already. First off, I hate using the term "classic" mainly because its usually used by the same people who use the term "party" as a euphemism for getting drunk. I don't know if any of those albums will hold up after, say, thirty years. Maybe they will. I like them. I really meant as a live band. I think Nels is a better player. More inventive on the guitar, more willing to find what is right for the song. I'm just not a Jay fan. There can be both kinds of people you know. People who who don't like Jay Bennett and people who are getting there.
  7. Well, so did Brad Pitt and that didn't help his singing career!
  8. I'm sorry, I'm not flying across the Atlantic on an airline named after my cousin Ryan. He's not all there, if you know what I mean.
  9. Somehow we made through 129 posts before I have to bring up "Unskinny Bop"! Which may also get a nod for worst title ever as well.
  10. Nope. Its also one of the few cities in America where, for certain jobs, you must live in the city to qualify for employment. And they vary wildly. Certain judges have to live in the city, others don't. To work a minimum wage job at he Detroit Institute of Arts you have to live in the city. But to pitch for the Tigers, you can live in Miami Beach. Its weird.
  11. Yeah, its not much. Just enough to keep former mayors in prison blues!
  12. Nope, its because we have to overpay just to get anyone to come here
  13. You know, San Fran is terribly expensive and they don't cough up that kind of money. I do agree its probably part of it, but it seems more like arrogance.
  14. Oh brother! Its also the collared shirt and tie under it and the dumbass smile...oh God I hate the Yanks!
  15. Very sad. Detroit loses a legend.
  16. OK, its the reason I started the thread. This one's for you Hardwood Floors. L.A. Woman sucks.
  17. Nah, yer right, the Doors suck.
  18. I've always thought Peyton was a great player and a tremendous spokesperson for a league with more than a few behaviorally challenged miscreants.
  19. If that's the case, I call for a full-scale gas war here in Michigan. And not just Detroit, which is always a war zone.
