I just bought it yesterday since Sault Ste. Marie doesn't get their new cd's in until Wednesdays lol. But I think it's a pretty strong album and I'm pleased with it. -
Well we all know the chords to all the songs on YHF. So over the summer I decided to try and figure every little riff and note in all the songs and I'll keep adding them as I get time to post them but here are a few for now. Also I know some of these probably have been posted in previous threads but I'll post them anyways so they're all here. I also believe that Jeff uses a different tuning when playing this live with Wilco. He tunes the low E and A strings down a step and plays this riff. e b g d g --0--0--0--0--0--0 d 5--5--5--5--5--5 That's what I think he does but who knows.

Jeff played that Santa Cruz a ton at the two shows I saw this year. He also plays a blue SG on The Late Greats.

Upon listening to Jeff's solo version of What Light I can guarentee you "Groo" that during the first chorus Jeff sings "well there's a light, what light, there's a light, what light, there's a light, one light, inside of you", and during the second chorus he sings "one light" while the song fades out.

He changes it up between "what light" and "one light" during the song I'm pretty sure.

It's a pretty enjoyable show to listen to. The banter inbetween songs is amusing. And if you donwloaded this show and you are obsessed with dates it is: Golden Smog, Irving Plaza, New York, NY, December 5, 1998.

I dunno I figure Brand New is the safest of the "emo" bands. They are alot more arty and do more with music than all the others. Rammstein is shit though...

Same here. I would have loved to see her but... Wilco for the third time this year sounds so much more appealing.
