one thing i prefer is that you need to be able to play it solo and stripped down. if you can play it alone on an acoustic guitar (hello, Mr Tweedy), the song is perfect. other than that, i like the way it sounds!

i remember when i got my tonsils out in 1990. i woke up midway through sugery. a bunch of guys with metal implements down my throat and there was a tray of blood beside me. still being drugged up at the time and not thinking straight, i grabbed the tray and started drinking it, out of fear. they swiftly gave me another jab in the arse and i was asleep again. a few seconds terror, though!

He was born in Big Beaver by the borderline He started playing hockey by the time he was nine His dad took the hose and froze the back yard And Little Buddy dreamed he was Rocket Richard He grew up big and he grew up tough He saw himself scoring for the Wings or Canucks But he wasn't that good with a puck Buddy's real talent was beating people up His heart wasn't in it but the crowd ate it up Through pee-wee's and juniors, midgets and mites He must have racked up more than six hundred fights A scout from the flames came down from Saskatoon Said, "There's alwa

there are promo copies of the bootleg series being passed around for journalists, ect, to listen to, but it hasnt leaked yet to the general public. i dont expect it to till it gets an official release. the weird thing is that the last few bootleg series album that got out were things we've already heard before, so it wasnt much of a concern. this new one has lots of unreleased stuff vol 4: live 66... probably the most common dylan bootleg vol 5: mostly from 2 of the most common rolling thunder shows vol 6: the halloween 64 show vol 7: no direction home had some of the most common tracks th -

the bootleg series or the "jokes"?. the jokes are all out there on their respective recordings of the shows. it'll make a good cringe-worthy compilation! (like the Tweedy banter one we were talking about recently!) - which would be funnier -

nah, i heard that the negative reviews were about the price of buying the 3cd version compared to the 2cd version. they werent about the music (since its not released yet) people were blaming bob and sony for it, so thats why they might have got taken down. i didnt see them personally. and they're right - the 3cd version is a total rip-off -
> You know, I've always thought of summerteeth as kind of a dark album but it has some of the most uplifting songs on it. and those shifty boys hide this little tune called Candyfloss at the end of it just to fool us!. personally, on a sonic note, i think their Beatles covers album
