  1. yeah, i dont mind that last tune!. even tweedy gave it a go once. as for Hard rain, its on bootleg dvd. there's also a video of the rehearsals of the tour with the following tunes: Starlight Ballroom, Belleview Hotel, Clearwater, Florida (April 22, 1976): - Mr. Tambourine Man - The Times They Are A-Changin' - Blowin' In The Wind - I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine - Silver Mantis - When I Paint My Masterpiece - Like A Rolling Stone - Isis - Just Like A Woman - Knockin' On Heaven's Door - Lay Lady Lay
  2. > I will never say that I will understand the dislike of SBS since this was the album that brought me into the Wilco fold it doesnt sound like Yankee or Ghost - thats what most people dont like it (IMO!)
  3. > I had that album. I thought it was decent.

  5. i found an old VHS tape of episodes of Sanford & Son that i taped off TV 15 years ago. love that show. R.I.P Redd Foxx
  6. i've got nothing against most of the songs on Another side. its just the sound of the recording that bugs me a bit as for Good as i been to you, thats a great. its more upbeat than World gone wrong and hasd some of his best acoustic playing. check out Step it up and go - its claimned that the abum was recorded live, with no overdubs, but i'm convinced that song has a 2nd guitar. if not, Dylan sure can play his acoustic guitar
  7. the follow up single (afternoons and coffe spoons) was more catchy and his voice wasnt as deep. hey, johnny cash didnt really sing in a falsetto and he was a bit popular over the years
  8. where's Robert Plant?
  9. i know i'm in a minority here, but Under the red sky is worth getting. its has a unique sound for him. catchy songs (not "strong" ones), but it has a nice bluesy rock feel, with lots of special musicians playing with him. Shot of love and Infidels are great too. Just steer clear of Empire Burlesque
  10. bootleg #6 is the halloween concert Dylan did in 1964. its a common one but now has an official release:.. well worth getting. http://www.bobdylan.com/moderntimes/albums/live1964.html as for Another side, i like the songs but there's something about the recording and his voice that i dont like. its sticks out from the rest of 60s albums. On the other hand, it was recorded in, what, 6 hours over a bottle of whiskey? Same with Saved - i like most of the songs but the recording sounds bad. they sounded much better on the gospel tour between 79-81
