i'd love it if jeff does a few solo songs midway through the wilco set, like on the AM tour when he'd do Gun or Black Eye on his own
-
i also love Stand. damn catchy pop tune
-
also, some people have different albums for different times. for some reason, on saturday mornings when i wake up, i like to listening to Sinatra. on sunday mornings, i like listening to Katie Melua. Sunday afternoons goes to Gordon lightfoot. If i'm stressed, its Mississippi John Hurt maybe its just an OCD

fair enough - i guess my wish for that wont come true. dont ask, it comes from AGIB

i also like the comment about starting the shows with the same songs twice, threatening it'll be the same setlist. thats my favourite version of Reflections.. out of the few he's done.

ah dang it, i was thinking about the 4th jan 2000 solo tweedy show at the lounge ax when i said that Ken Coomer had nearly a year left in the band

i wasnt there, but i like comment about glenn having to pay an exntrance fee or something to play with him. or was it something about him not being on the guestlist? definately an important show. ken coomer stayed on for nearly a year after it, before glenn became a member

> He debuted A Magazine Called Sunset one of those nights. yep, and it never got played for 3 years after that. the first night had an excellent version of When you wake up feeling old, sung in a lower key

> Please DON'T play... "Don't You Honey Me". why not? (not that they will anyway!, but...)

i also lost interest in them after Monster. even that one was patchy for me, but there was some great stuff. the picked the right tunes to release as singles on that one
