i just got home. first time i've seen and heard him solo. he was the support act for the re-formed Laughing Clowns with Ed Kuepper. he played for about 40 mins and it didnt really grab me at all. bring on the lap steel on Airline to heaven anyday!. it seemed like end of Handshake Drugs the whole time (like one song that never ended). he did some cool tactics like acting like he was about to eat his guitar. and there was this cylinder thing the he put against the strings and put his mouth to it to make more weird noises, and he kept flicking a switch and pedals i met him earlier in the aftern
