  4. there's bootlegs called "a tree with roots" and "the genuine basement tapes" that have loads of extra tracks. there's also a 10 cd set compiled by les kokay that are much better. this one has different versions of the songs from other artists added to it. the official release is a piece of crap

  7. > Yazoo does the best I think. agree! the 1928 recordings from mississippi john hurt were released by Yazoo and Columbia. the columbia version has EQ and sounds compressed and cleaned up. the Yazoo one has all the snap, crackle and pops and the warm feel of a 78 record
