i'm with calibubble on all but crickets. They don't make me as crazy. I'll just try to get them outside. we did not use any bug killing stuff on the garden, instead we planted eggplant as a decoy and let them have at it, because neither of us likes eggplant. We had very little nibblage of anything else. My father always taught me that if you kill a spider it will rain the next day. I will wrap it in tissue and put it outside if i can. I don't want the cats eating spiders because some times they can get sick.

I would like to see more mound charging. Fights are part of the game too. sometimes really great baseball is played after a blow up. i'm all for that. That said, I'm not positive that Youks was hit on purpose, and certainly the Tigers pitcher looked damn surprised to see Youk and his feral cat lumbering up on him. The idea that baseball is somehow immune to acts of rage and anger is not realistic.

College Park is nice. I worked there for 6 months. How come Cryptique never told me he had a brother out here? We could have met at Franklin's for a beer. There's a great knitting store in Hyattsville (right on Route 1) and there are a few good farmers market in Riverdale Park and College Park.
