  2. dear louie: lunch was my favorite part of the day in school!
  3. and let me just call dibs RIGHT NOW on a crazy new england living room show. The cats are already pooling their allowance. they are so excited and are putting together a few song and dance routines, just in case Jeff would like to take them on the road.
  4. it does not appear that we have tickets to any wilco show this summer. I keep figuring there will be some chicago shows that we'll try to get to...
  5. likes: ice cream (free or otherwise) VWs Wilco kosher meats Dislikes: German Chocolate Cake Hitler shellfish
  6. Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin is a good long voyage read. But i also like to have a few options--a few New Yorkers, and a book or two. I would not recommend The Things They Carried for a long distance flight. Too depressing.
  7. Yay LouieB! I hope you find the new position far more fulfilling. Best of Luck!!
  8. i am totally looking forward to a day when you have your own show on ESPN.
  9. we planted an heirloom tomato in the garden this weekend called Mr. Germany or some such so i think you know my position on Nazis.
  10. i am weighing in to say that i would "sell" some "art" for a pony.
  11. the sox seem to do their best whenever i am in serious pain.
  12. unfortunately, E85 is not the panacea that the administration is making it out to be. one of its many dirty little secrets is that it is created in factories that use coal as its energy source. It is great in the midwest though, i'm sure but we can't even get in the north east. There are a lot of problems with E85, from getting the pumps UL listed, to having a separate canopy in some communities, etc, not to mention how much corn it uses currently... if you all haven't seen "who killed the electric car" i highy recommend it. it actually made me tear up.
  13. i put super premium in my SUV because I Am Worth It.
  14. there was a braves fan behind us at the sox game last sunday and he was quite quiet and respectful. i mean, regarding baseball. He was kind of a douche in other respects. Same with his slutty girlfriend who giggled at everything SHE said.
  15. have you ever encountered yankees fans?
  16. i thought Philly fans were the worst in person.
  17. i thought red sox fans were the worst?
  18. being disabled and only 1.5 miles to the hospital means almost never buying gas now. which is kind of nice since i don't get a paycheck per se.
  19. I knew once i posted a pic everyone would remember them. I swear they are the most comfortable tshirts i have ever owned, and they have worn so well. I would say M or L. My shirt has long lost its size tag. If it fits you (but is too long, i know your propensity for cutting the bottom off your shirts) it will probably fit me. Sleeveless (like a loose tank top) is ok too! Thanks for looking! PS. We WILL be in San Fran July 4-11!! All Star Break and the game is at Giant's Stadium!!!! we probably won't get to the game but at least we'll get the swag!
  20. close, but no tees that i'm looking for. Do you guys know what i'm talking about or should i take a pic of my tee and post it?
  21. i tried that place. no dice. The tag on my old shirt says GEETA but that is a fairly common indian name so i haven't been able to track down a Geeta T-shirt. I'm starting to obsess now.
  22. does that look like tshirts to you? if it is helpful, the shirts often looked like a one or two color version of those indian bedspread tapistries.
