What you need to do is enable the show extensions folder option in XP, rename the files with an "f" instead of an "F" and then FLAC FrontEnd works like a champ. Or use something else to convert. Wow does this recording sound great -- thanks to yltfan for taping and thanks to analogman for posting on eTree. I love high quality recordings!!

Must say -- pretty impressive set so far. This fall when I saw then at ACL and Charlottesville I was thinking to myself that the setlists were getting too predictable. The past two weeks they have really mixed it up.

Max, I after listening to the past two nights I have been going on and on about how much the horns enhance the songs : Thanks I Get, Hate it Here, Walken -- just to name a few. I think they really take these tunes to a whole new level. Unfortunately I will be unable to make the DC show as I will be out of town, but hopefully will get to catch you guys playing with the band some other time. Really -- awesome work and I am upset I am going to miss you guys playing in DC.

If I may ask a question --- What is more important? What songs they play or how they play them? The reason it comes up is I thought Jon and Nels were really ON last night and they could have played anything and it would be great. Songs that normally don't really move me (Walken) I thought we especially good last night -- maybe it was the great sound fomr the FM feed. I have listened to last Friday's show on tape and I don't feel the same intensity level is there. Have yet to listen to Saturday so I am not sure, but what I heard from last night was great. I agree. And with the horns it takes it to another level. One of my more favorite of the "SBS" songs. Yes I realize that it is not on the actual album but I still lump it in the same category.
