IIRC, Jeff did a pre-release listening party for AGIB at the loft. It was also a charity thing, maybe an auction; a few people were able to come to the loft and hear AGIB with Jeff before it was released. I suspect someone on the board was at that...

My favorite song live, but not really as an opener. They did that at one show I was at, and it wasn't as good as hearing it a little later. I needed a little time to get ready for it, frankly. Definitely one of my favorites (and a great opener). Not quite my #1 tho.
