I worked there. The culture is to look for water; yes they look for other possibilities and explore everything a lot, but my experience on the job was that there was indeed limited imagination at times which is where I formed my opinion from. I worked with a guy at NASA named Phil Sunshine; I wonder if Jessica Sunshine is his wife. I like that NASA has employees with the last name sunshine.

They did this at the Chastain Park show in Atlanta a couple years ago. they played almost every song off of sky blue sky in order with a couple songs interspersed in between. it made for an interesting show. or maybe it was the downpours that didn't stop until they played spiders.

a friend and i laughed about how obama saying someone is a jackass is a bit unrefined for a president, how refreshing it is to have a politician not overthink everything. and laughed some more about how it is a different unrefined from what Bush was and how one was a good thing and the other wasn't. the friend was a republican even.
