This is all so depressing. We've been so good and so careful and all of these unvaxxed morons are still screwing things up! We're still planning on going if it happens (which I think is a coin flip at best), but there's basically no way that the music isn't going to be affected. Somebody in some band is going to test positive and they'll either have to alter their lineup or drop out completely, which sucks because the lineup is really damn good!

This does not seem to bode well for SBS, but I hope if they do cancel they at least do it before people with the pre-game nights (myself included) are flying down!
-
It’s just a shitty situation all around. I’m starting to get worried about even being able to get there with all the flight cancellations!
-
Short of Jeff getting sick, I don’t see any way that it gets postponed. We’re still planning on going, but at this point offering refunds to those who want it seems fair. It does make me wonder why more people didn’t buy the cancel for any reason insurance though. Even though things were looking better at the time, we were still in the middle of a pandemic.

Looks like the Fillmore shows now too. As someone going to Sky Blue Sky, I’m selfishly very happy that they’re not risking covid so close to that. Hopefully some of the other artists that are currently scheduled to tour in the lead up follow suit.

We're still going and planning on masking pretty much everywhere but the beach. The thought of getting stuck is very worrisome, but I think we'll be alright if we play it extremely safe (although I will no doubt be losing my mind when we take our exit test). I'm frankly more worried about the bands that are touring right up until the festival having to back out due to Covid than anything.

Wilco — 15 October 2021, Napa, CA (Oxbow RiverStage)

We were out in Napa last week and stayed about a 2 min drive from Oxbow Market. Really cool place with great food, although I wish our timing was just a little better so we could have seen the show! -
My Half Life/I Can't showed up today and both songs are just awesome. Their next album could be OTJ part II and I would love it.
-
Yep, I inquired about the Half Life single as well since I already got the SK one. $18 is steep but I'm excited that it's being offered.
-
How early did you all get to the shows to get the Wilco b sides single? I showed up at merch about 5:45 last night and it was sold out . Split single sounds great though!

Wilco — 28 August 2021, Chicago, IL (Jay Pritzker Pavilion)
Madcap replied to bböp's topic in After The Show
I hadn’t been to the pritzker since the last time Wilco was there and I was stunned to see that they hadn’t remedied that issue at all. I have no idea why they didn’t have all the tents open, just leaving money on the table. Going into the show I didn’t think I would be bummed about a short Wilco set since we had SK as well, but damn 90 minutes went by super quick. Seeing them again at Summerfest and I’m guessing it’ll be the same thing there too. Hopefully they vary the set a little bit, but I’m not holding my breath. They were also sold out of the OTJ b sides 7 inch whe -
It’s $60 for a year, not $60 a month or something, totally worth it.

Couple of questions for those who have seen shows on this tour - How long has Nnamdi been playing and how efficient has the vaccination card checks been? We have a dinner reservation at 4:30 (lol) on Saturday and am a little nervous about missing Nnamdi’s set. -

Really hope HTW sticks around for the rest of the tour. -
Sleater Kinney announced that proof of vaccination or a negative test within 48 hours of showtime is now required for a bunch of the remaining Wilco shows. Hopefully Wilco announces something similar for the rest of their shows after the SK tour too. It's the only way forward it seems like.
-
Oh man they better still have both of those available for Chicago!
-
Signed up for the mid-tier option, hoping to get some cool tour anecdotes and stuff.
-
Extremely jealous of anyone who is able to go to that Jeff/Nels show.
-
Hopefully we can start filling this thread again soon! Jeff is playing the opening of a new venue in Brooklyn on 9/30 and 10/1.

We did tulum and cenotes/snorkeling with turtles last year and while they were both pretty cool, not sure we’ll do any next year. Spend more time at the beach and allow myself to enjoy the late night shows without having to worry about the next day.
-
Such a painless process, but I'm also glad that we had an early presale time and went with one of the more generic room types again. Would be great if every ticket buying experience was this easy!

lol that’s me in the packers hat and my wife on the store picture on the front page of the site.
