I absolutely hate thinking about the financial burden that so many musicians are dealing with right now, glad that they got the PPP loan. Makes me want to pre-order Nels' new album (the advance single is fantastic).

That video is...something haha. Not as good as the live version from the drive in, but still such a damn good song. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album.

I'm hoping there's an option for those of us who already preordered to just buy the stream without the book. I know I'd buy a ticket to both of the events if that was an option.

When did he say he thought live music might return? -This time next year. Not surprising, but still incredibly depressing to hear!!

Oh yeah this stream is definitely worth $20 to relive that show a bit. Would be nice if this ends up on YouTube in a bit.

How was the quality of the picture/sound? I was at the show, but am still debating buying the stream to re-watch!

I was in the second to last row (just happy to be there!) and was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality and the sight lines. It wasn’t loud enough that I used my earplugs, but it was still plenty loud and clear. The view was like watching the band from the lawn at a big shed, which while not at all what I’m used to for a Tweedy/Wilco show, still felt familiar. All in all it was a great experience. I thought Opaline and Natural Disaster were absolutely awesome and Old Country Waltz was a fantastic surprise and they nailed it. My only regret is that I missed 80% of Save it for Me since

Hopefully they are able to at least announce a physical release by 10/23 so I know if I need to purchase the digital version or not. I had to double dip on Warm to get the Warmer vinyl and I'm not eager to repeat that!

I’m not familiar with a majority of those artists but I bought it because of the new Tweedy track and I’d say it’s maybe 60% good. Fun being exposed to some new artists though and it’s for a good cause.

Is it the assumption that this is what Jeff was finishing up that he mentioned recently or should we still be expecting a new Tweedy album sometime early next year?

Just ordered the colored vinyl, hopefully I don't end up needing to buy a digital copy for the Boulder show later because that also looks awesome. Much easier to pull the trigger on something like this when my concert budget has been reduced to virtually nothing this year!

Been making my way through the May 77 box that got released a couple of years ago, so good. Hadn't heard any shows between 5/9 and 5/18 and they're all keepers.

I'm hoping that maybe the download included with the vinyl will include both shows, I really don't want to have to buy a vinyl and a cd/digital copy!

Wow, so the vinyl and CD have different live shows? That is...annoying to say the least.

Summerteeth is my favorite album of theirs so this is exciting, but I’m a little disappointed it’s not a new Tweedy album haha.

Who’s all going to the drive in show? Tickets were a pain in the ass, but I was able to get a spot in the last section. Not ideal, but I all super excited for the show.

I would imagine that the set list would look a lot like Canal Shores/SBS with hopefully a new song or two mixed in.

Rush 11/1/96 in Milwaukee. They did the full 2112 suite and blew my 14 year old mind.

Stapleton show got rescheduled, replacing Isbell on the bill with Mavis Staples, who while a nice consolation prize, is still a pretty big bummer. The good news is that now I can go to the Chicago Wilco show. Felt DAMN good to buy a ticket to a new show!

Can’t wait for that. When I heard he was writing another book so soon my mind went to Neil Young’s car and pono books and I was hoping it wouldn’t be as niche as those, so this sounds fantastic.

Sure wish the Stapleton/Isbell Wrigley show would get rescheduled soon so I can buy a ticket to the Millennium Park show if they no longer conflict!
