I agree with Speed Racer. It's pretty inconsiderate to stand and block the view of others around you. Just because most people on the floor are standing doesn't automatically give you the right to stand in the balcony too. I was in the 1st balcony at the Wednesday show. I wanted to stand earlier in the show, but didn't because I didn't want to be a jerk to those around me. Thankfully we got to stand for the encore set.

Oddly enough I'm on the last episode of Season 2. I have a love/hate thing going with the show. It can be funny and witty, but also cliched and ridiculous. Thankfully there's enough good stuff going on to keep me watching--the parade of sundry beautiful women doesn't hurt the cause either of course.

Enjoyed the show immensely. I was even won over by a couple songs that I'm not too fussed about studio wise. Glad to see the rarely played "Can't Stand It" getting some action on this tour. I noticed the people sitting in the front. Typical Toronto audience . We were in the 1st balcony and had a few people around us that sat through the whole show. Not sure how anyone could sit through that whole encore set, if that didn't get you moving, nothing can.

I really wanted to go to that one but couldn't make it unfortunately. Hayden would've made for a good opener for the Toronto shows.

Maybe Ron Sexsmith, Kathleen Edwards, or some of the Broken Social Scene will be there. All I know for sure is that I'm going to be there .

I'm totally seeing that if and when it comes out.

That was the one that brought me into the fold too. I've been a big fan ever since, I even delved into some of the Lifter Puller stuff.

That sounds terrific. I'll have to check your place out next time I'm in the area. Do you guys do any vegetarian and/or vegan sandwiches?

Absolutely! Prine's one of my favorite songwriters.

Is it so wrong to not like The Beatles?
GtrPlyr replied to Wild Frank's topic in Someone Else's Song
There's nothing wrong with not liking The Beatles, of course, there's nothing right with it either . All kidding aside, there's nothing wrong with not liking something as widely loved as the Beatles. They don't click with you, and that's okay. -

Wow, I'm dumbfounded by this decision. -
Pretty exciting stuff. C'mon, now, don't tease us with this mysterious Canadian guest. Is this person going to be producing or playing on the record?

KISS Alive II was one of the first records I ever bought. Around the time I was in grades 5 & 6 they were probably my favorite band, followed closely by The Who, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Rush. Years later I recall trading most of my KISS records (Dynasty, Alive II, Unmasked...) for a friends Van Halen records. I still have my original "Hotter Than Hell" on vinyl so I guess my friend didn't want that one, can't blame him.

I've been on a Kristofferson kick lately, so good to have a new one from him. The Lucero I just got, but I'm digging it so far. NP:

Didn't know about this one. Thanks for the heads up, I'll definitely be searching it out.

If they were to do one Kiss song, that might be the one. They could just say they're covering a Replacements song after all .

It is said that John Lennon once listened to this record for 36 hours straight. Not sure if that's true, but considering how unique this record was for the time, I can almost believe it. I also read somewhere that Harry was invited to join The Beatles in the studio for the White Album, and was even considered as a possible addition as the 5th Beatle. That would've been an interesting turn of events... The White Album would have probably turned into 3-LPs if that had happened.

From what I can tell this hasn't been released on DVD yet, anywhere.
