  1. Hey Doug. Just booked a hotel, but plan on hitting the park early on Saturday to possibly go Kyacking? Have you ever done that there? Is the area nice?
  2. Depends...is the entire show GA? Then no. If only the PIT area is GA then yes.
  3. So now that I am seeing Wilco in May, it is very unlikely that I will be seeing them for Solid Sound. I still have a room booked in the town of Adams (about 10 mins away), at an organic spa called the topia inn. Before I call and cancel, wanted to put it out there... I think the room rate is 265 a night. ..its the aloha room with a floating bed.
  4. that sucks..I probably would have made the same mistake.
  5. Ahh...that makes more sense. I was just counting the "seats" on the map. Actual "standing pit" is 600! Oh well.
  6. Last year they had Laganiitius And Smutty nose. Drinking a Wilco tango foxtrot while watching the band was pretty awesome. I also drank a shit load of Little Sumpin sumpin Heady Topper and hill Farmstead would definitly bring it up another notch. Point was , it was great craft beer, and at reasonable prices $5 a pour. My local amphitheater sells craft beer for $12
  7. One of the benefits of living in a state with a shitty music scene (Florida) is that tickets are very easy to obtain. Pit tickets still available in St. Augustine. Also, based on the seating map, the PIT only holds 146 people...
  8. Scored 2 PIT tickets in St. Agustine...anyone know how big the PIT is, and how many people they allow in?
  9. do the tickets links appear on the individual show links, or do they appear on the "list page" on Front Gate? nevermind, I think I answered my own question.
  10. Here is the short answer...if you like Wilco, this is probably your Mecca. Slightly longer answer. Great Music, Great Art, Great Crowd, Great Beer, Great Food, Great Location, Great Everything.
  11. looks lihe the "pre-sale" links are live. f5 party tomorrow!
  12. Quite possible considering that there is a 2 day gap between Orlando and St. Agustine. Which only takes roughly 2 hours to drive too. Possible Jeff and the gang will be stopping in Orlando to visit Disney World?
  13. hey guys...it's been awhile since I bought tickest form Front Gate... Where does the acutal "buy now" link appear? on Wilco's "Shows" website? Or on Front Gate's WIlco page? I have a Front Gate account already, just need to know what site I should be F5ing tomorrow morning. thanks,
  14. So now that Wilco have some Florida dates, I'll defintiely have to make a decision between spending less money or spending a lot to see them this year.
  15. Wow...Tallahassee gig on a Sunday. Tempting... Where do tickets actually go pre-sale? On the Wilco World website?
  16. Oh man...I hope this is true. Would be so much cheaper then flying to Mass.
  17. I've been listening to the roadcase tweedy Show
  18. The new album is awesome if you haven't heard it.
  19. I think Deerhoof is a good possibility considering its one of Spencer's favorite bands and they have a new album out
  20. Mascis played on Mark Mulcahey's set in 2013 if you missed it. And Mark played on J Mascis new album. Also...would love if Fleet Foxes would come out of hiatus
  21. I think a wilco set and a tweedy set are a given. I think expecting 2 wilco sets and a tweedy set are possible . I'm more interested in who will tag along. Would love some big surprise. Andrew Bird would be another big draw
  22. I decided to reserve a room, just in case I find the line up unmissable. The Replacements would be a HUGE push for my wife and I, as we have been fans for a long time, and would love to see them live. Anyone know when we can expect to see the line up?
  23. Lol...this board convinced me last time to stay an extra dAy. Now you are gonna convince me to go when I know I shouldnt.
  24. Lol...it will be awful when I end up buying tickets that are more expensive and end up finding a hotel in Egypt to try and make the show. Also flying into Albany is stress free, and the drive through the mountains is a lot of fun
