  1. I forgot to add that I read "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" last year - thought it was hilarious. If even half of that stuff is true, my hat is off to him.
  2. I just read Bluebeard, thought it was great. I love Vonnegut. I just finished a book called Mountains Beyond Mountains about a doctor that started a clinic in Haiti and has changed the way that public health is conducted in "third-world" countries. Definitely pick it up - this guy is amazing. I'm starting Life of Pi tonight and hope to get a bio of Ben Franklin in before school starts up again as well.
  3. I would imagine when it becomes Wilco retrospective time, these will be in there. But I can't imagine them surfacing anytime soon.
  4. alright - i got it all figured out - use DVD shrink and then Clone DVD 2 to burn - GREAT SUCCESS! THANKS VERY MUCH
  5. I downloaded both of these - so I use dvd decryptor to rip it and then Clone dvd to burn it? I tried ripping a dvd that was dual layered in dvd decrypt and it ripped both layers into the iso file - is there a way to just rip part of it (like the layer that has the actual movie)? Thanks for your help guys, for some reason this has been difficult for me.

  14. true, but at least it's finished - that's the first step
  15. i just downloaded a copy of dvdxcopy and tried to unsuccessfully burn a dvd. does anyone use this program? It went through the whole process of copying and finalizing, but the dvd won't read in a computer or a regular dvd player. I looked at the disc and it looked full as well. Any ideas? thanks, Nick
  16. I have a 160 gig western digital external that I keep my itunes library on - it's linked for access via USB 2. It's working great so far. That would be my suggestion. I also have my files on my ipod which I can use to recover the files if, god forbid, something happens to the external
