Does anyone on here work for/within any of the government's agencies? I just received a fellowship that would allow me to work in one of my choice. I currently work within the HHS at the CDC in atlanta, but I'm interested in other organizations that might be fun/interesting/fruitful to work for. Off the top of my head I'm thinking of HHS, USAID, Peace Corps, and Indian Health Services. Has anyone worked for any of these or another agency? Any suggestions? I'm interested in international development, health care policy, and the political/legislative process in general.

We already knew it would be Michael, the acting was terrible, we already knew Jin would die (because of the DUI), and using tricks like flash-forward and flash-back in the same episode is a very annoying writing crutch - the creators of Lost mentioned in an interview that they did not intend to use both in a single episode, but I guess that was bs. I think I'll wait to watch the rest of the season when it comes out on DVD.

wow, that episode was terrible - combine that with the terrible Kate and Juliet episodes and we have a pretty poor season thus far...

I found that the best way to help my anxiety is to learn as much as I can about how planes work and how pilots are trained. These guys know what they're doing - it is NOT easy at all. I also read the "Ask the Pilot" column on salon.com. He's a great writer and he has written articles trying to aid people with a fear of flying. I was pretty underwhelmed by the pop ups last night - pretty much a waste for anyone that actually watches the program. I guess it makes sense for new viewers, but it gave away a lot of plot points before the episode reached those points.
