Damn!!!! This is the WRONG TIME, City of Fort Wayne, to dig up the street in front of my house for something so LAME as a water line break. I can hear, haven't lost anything sound-wise, just picked up jack-hammers and giant crane noises outside.

Are the videos going to be by Brent Green? Is this by Brent Green? I saw his animated short films performed with Califone live at the Wexner Center for the Performing Arts last November (Columbus, OH), and judging by those stylistically, I could believe this was done by Brent Green. But I don't see any credits, so ... ? And ... how about that alternate version of 3-Legged Animals? I LOVE that! And why does it come up as being performed by some Christian artist, Jeremy somebody? And ... why on Brent Green's website Nervous Films in the "Projects" section does it say this:

That is bizarre, but one of my favorite Califone songs Sleep for me sleepless. Dream for me dreamless.

He could well be 27. I met him in Indy 2 years ago, and he looked really young. I think he joined the band at 22. Re: Single -- I noticed that as well. I'm thinking he and Shonna might not be together. I do not know for sure, of course, but some months ago I remember reading a thread at Nine Bullets that raised the topic of some marital problems between them, but I dismissed it as just forum gossip or whatever -- and the thread maybe was taken down (not sure, I don't go there much anymore). But maybe there was some truth to that. I mean, it would have to be really difficult to live th

This apparently is Jason Isbell's MySpace page and it appears to be run by himself. In one of his posts, he says the solo CD is due March or April, and that is all I can find. I hope that's still true anyway. It has apparently been done since 2004. He's connected to this touring agency as a solo artist (with a very nice picture, BTW) ... so that's about all I can dig up. I should be working, but Jason Isbell is an easy distraction. I love "Dress Blues" -- if you haven't heard it, it should be somewhere on Youtube.

Nice to see some Jason Isbell solo dates with his own band. Can't wait to hear his new record. Maybe that is why DBT as a band have fever dates planned for 2007, because Jason and Patterson both have solo records coming out, at least that's the way I understand it.

My little brother and I loved Super Balls. But the Mini Balls were way fun, and really easy to hide in your pocket for a sneak attack.

Thanks for this nice review! I would love to see YLT some day.

PETA needs to reconsider their position on cricket musicians. They dig playing with Glenn.

At the solo Tweedy show in Grand Rapids last year, Glenn told us his little "cricket" boxes were running down on batteries, and that he gets them in Chinatown (Chicago, I presume). He added, "They're not real -- that would be cruel!"
