  1. it probably feels good to yell like that.
  2. this song, when played on my PC, makes my video screen go all wobbly toward the end. It's so funny!
  3. Another first-poster! Welcome BWW!!!
  4. I'm on Wilcoworld one, and it's pretty clean. Just a pop now and then Hi Allison!
  5. Jesus Etc and Heavy Metal Drummer were my first two "favorite" Wilco songs in the very beginning. Wow, they now have to fight with soooooo many others for those top two fav positions. This band rules.
  6. You deserve a free t-shirt or something, I think!
  7. Dan and his 20 best friends! You had a big group, all right. It was great to meet you though.
  8. well, those 2003 auditorium shows kicked all kinds of ass! My favorite live version of HSD was Cleveland at House of Blues. My jaw dropped open in shock at the sounds swirling in circles. Next best was E. Lansing a few weeks ago.
  9. I have said this many times before, and I'll say it again - the swirliness of the end of HSD is one of my very favorite Wilco things.
  10. Seriously? Califone would be fantastic! Everyone should check out their new "Roots and Crowns" because it is wonderful. My tickets for their show Nov 3 in Cleveland just arrived in the mail today. So, yeah. I'm happy to see them more than once.
  11. Thanks everybody! It's a great way to start any day by getting 4th row center pit seats for Saturday night Wilco show next month! Had a fabulous dinner out with mom PLUS birthday cake ... white chocolate raspberry cheesecake with dark chocolate crust with 1 candle on top (no snickering about the 50 missing candles, now ) Yeah, I suppose this evening doesn't quite measure up to the last birthday seeing Paul McCartney (damn, Nick, you remembered! ) but I'm still on cloud 9 from this past weekend's two shows in Columbus and Cinci with Jen and Adam -- The Wrens both nights! An

  14. Try looking at the Auditorium seating chart at Ticketmaster, maybe it will be easier to read. http://www.ticketmaster.com/seatingchart/57351/4623
  15. Anybody remember this? Tweedy solo Ann Arbor at the Michigan Theater - a deranged dreadlocked man in dirty clothes runs down the aisle toward the stage, and as he neared the stage, he jumped (apparently expecting to spring much higher) and dived (dove?) onto the stage with his hands outstretched Superman-style, only to land belly side down like a beached whale at the edge of the stage. Jeff looked surprised and freaked out for a moment, but he kept singing and playing acoustic guitar as security rushed in and dragged the guy slowly back off the stage by his ankles, until he landed with a
  16. Great shots! I love to see how happy Wilco makes everybody. ^ | | | M. Christine! You look so cute!
  17. This band amazes me at each turn. I think Crane Wife is brilliant, it did not bore me in the least. I love everything they've done, and Colin Meloy's voice is unusual, but it's too bad it is a deal-breaker for some people. There are a lot of other "voices" in the music industry that are much much more annoying, IMO. But that's all it is, my opinion.
