I am honestly surprised that you don't find the timing at all suspicious. Friday was a day off for me and many people (and most State workers here in WI, but that was do to unpaid furloughs and is a different story entirely.) In Wisconsin the Gov has 6 days after receiving the bill to sign or veto. He received the bill on 7/3/13. He signed it on 7/5/13. Often times when a legislation is important it is signed during some ceremony at some location. Not to say that it warranted such a spectacle, but to me it is odd that he choose to sign it on the Friday of a long Holiday week. It plainly shows that he was trying to slip this law under the rug and hopefully not get it noticed. I mean it may be nothing, but the timing just seems suspicious.

I think it would be better actually. Here in Wisconsin it is a big thing right now. There was a very restrictive reproductive rights bill passed and signed by the governor. Which was later put on hold by a judge. What is amusing thus far is that Gov Scott Walker signed the bill on Friday July 5th. I guess in hopes that it wouldn't be noticed over the Holiday. It seems as though a man with presidential aspirations doesn't have the balls to stand by his convictions.

Hixter- Regarding the IRS "scandal," the reason it belongs in quotes IMHO, is that it has not risen to the Administration toppling thing that Issa and so many people on the right tried to make it. In this day in age we have a problem. Mainly the problem is we think what the other side wants or believes, which often is a highly distorted or completely inaccurate. Take for example Gov. Bobby Jindal's op ed in politico. Where he says the following: It is laughable that Jindal would say these things. I am sure I can find some op eds from the left that basically say similar distortions of the right's point of view. It would be so much better if we would just listen to what people had to say, rather then respond to what we think they will say.
