  1. They are now offering a free video download of "Living Well..." video on iTunes. It's an acoustic video that they shot in a moving car. It is unbelievable how talented they are.
  2. Probably the whole beating Memphis thing.
  3. Damn, i hadn't heard that. I'm a subscriber to Harp.... hell, i think I paid it forward too. That is very bad news.
  4. agreed....also love that he won't wear a suit. I've had my issues with him over the years but he is clearly one of the best coaches of all time. He gets more out of players than most coaches would dream of.
  5. they are unreal live! P.S. Still liking this album more with each listen
  6. I wonder what Lou thinks about me not liking having cd jewel cases all over the fucking place. I'd like to know his thoughts on this.
  7. He did say "very few people". For me, I can give a rat's ass. I think iTunes sounds great. However, that may be due to years and years of rock concerts.
  8. agreed... my wife and I talked about that last night. Maybe she can get past the fact that he cheated. However, could she get past the fact that he was spending $5k a pop to do so?
  9. I listened to the album in it's entirety this morning on the way to work. Not hard to do considering it's only 30 minutes long. I liked it but it doesn't seem to be anywhere near "Hardwire Healing". Since the album is so short, I was able to finish my drive with the first 4 or 5 songs from "Hardwire Healing" I need to give it some more spins.
  10. Just downloaded and started listening. Love it so far. I REALLY love this trend in music with free downloads and donations. I am more than happy to pay these guys for making it so easy to listen to their music. I haven't been able to see them live yet but hopefully they'll venture out of the south more in the near future. Highly recommend this for those that haven't heard them yet.
  11. Great stuff... Some of those don't look far off. I especially like the John Travolta.
  12. He used to do this. I agree that he won't anymore but when Wilco first came out, Jeff would come out and play a couple UT songs solo acoustic. Great stuff.
  13. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that they are going to rock NBC tonight. Most likely won't be doing "Bob" this go around. My money is on "Righteous Path". Thanks for the reminder as I clearly would have forgotten!
  14. Lamrod - not sure who the songwriter is in your band but this is a song.
  15. Spiral Stairs from Pavement is currently in Preston School of Industry and they have opened for Wilco. Good stuff.
  16. love those guys... Yes, I believe we did this fairly recently. In fact, I may have mentioned the Avett Bros, but it sounds better coming from you.
  17. Completely agree. Let it Bleed, Beggars Banquet and Exile are three albums that I never tire of. Of all the late 60's, early 70's stuff that I used to listen to, very few get played anymore.
  18. I don't think it would take a financial hardship to unload a guitar for $5k.
  19. that's a great one. I have seen parts of Pavement opening for them already. Would be great to see the full ensemble but probably not overly likely. I've said mine before and I'll say it again - Marah.
  20. Sorry if I missed it but do they have any indication that it was random or targeted? I'm assuming it was random. Shit that would be scary. Side note, did any of your band members urinate themselves?
  21. Why the fuck won't Iggy Pop wear a shirt?
  22. Life's Rich Pageant and Automatic for the People have been the albums that have held up best to these ears.
