I would agree. At first I was really diggin' I'm Amazed, but after listening to Sec Walkin', Smokin' from Shootin', and Touch Me I'm Going To Scream I am enthralled with all those songs. Aaaaaand, there's still 6 more we haven't heard.

No problem! I went for a walk today with all 8 new tunes on my mp3 player. I am really diggin' em all. I had Highly Suspicious in my head all evening. Sec' Walkin is my favorite right now. Good thing Wilco announced the new shows (going to Winnipeg AND Fargo!!!), or MMJ might have overtaken them..........

I listened to that show live, and now got the download from the MMJ forum. It blows me away! The new songs sound amazing, and so many of my favorites on the set list.

This movie infuriated me. Borderline sacreligious! But really, I thought it was ridiculous.

So we are taking the plunge! We are going to the May 1 show in Fargo (about a three hour drive) AND the May 2 show in Winnipeg (1 hour drive)!!!!! This is going to be so great. I cannot shut up about it. BEST FRIDAY EVER!!!

My wife is very excited to see Wilco, FINALLY! What a way to end a brutal Manitoba winter!!!! This will be my third time seeing them. First was at Another Roadside Attraction in '97, then the July 1st show in '06, both in Winnipeg.

Any word/rumor on who would open these dates?

This is GLORIOUS!!!!! Now I feel like I will truly fit in on VC. That makes no sense, but I am giddy like a school girl right now. And its such a great venue to see them in!!!!!!!! This is the best Friday ever. Good thing too, because My Morning Jacket was inching VERY close to Wilco on my most-loved bands list.

Oooh, this will be fun. I will have to wait until I am home from work to come up with my list.

I am crossing my fingers for a Winnipeg show, to make up for when Nels had the pox last August. Never give up......never give up.

The new songs sound sooooo good. This band keeps getting better and better. Magic!

"The Way That He Sings" is the first MMJ song I ever heard. I cocked my head to the side a few years ago and said "Holy shit, this is great!" I am have been up since 5:30 am, have had 5 cups of coffee, so if I start to get annoying tell me to shut up.
