Thanks, three bucks. Exactly what I needed to know.

WTF? $250 for nosebleeds? And what's the deal with GA floor. Is that admission to any floor location? The Spectrum's seating chart is totally unilluminating.

Just ponied up $400 for two (!!) to Detroit, Sec. 126 first row (AA). Worth keeping? If this was a Pistons game it would be a no-brainer.

It might make it a little more tolerable.

Second row, Section 3! What a blast! We took our kids, and they danced the whole show. When you see your 8 year old pogoing at a Wilco show , and your 11 year old singing her lungs out on Jesus, etc., that's when you know you did alright as a parent. The looks on their faces when the band took the stage for the first time was priceless.

Thanks, Big. Looks like the picnic thing is the way to go, then.

Very important question: Will they be selling beer at the show? I can't figure it out from the Koka website.

I was being ironic, baiting the rank em thread. It worked!

Don't be so sure about that.

Anyone have recommendations for hotels reasonably close to the venue?

I had no idea . . . Barack Obama wears a FLAG PIN at all times. Even in the shower. Barack Obama says the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE every time he sees an American flag. He also ends every sentence by saying, "WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL." Click here for video of Obama quietly mouthing the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE in his sleep. A tape exists of Michelle Obama saying the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE at a conference on PATRIOTISM. Every weekend, Barack and Michelle take their daughters HUNTING. Barack Obama is a PATRIOTIC AMERICAN. He has one HAND over his HEART at all times. He occasionally switches

Is the Pageant remotely kid-friendly? The website says something about separating underage patrons, whatever the hell that means. Anyone?

More encouragement, Adrian! Really great, truly awesome. Whatever your day job is, I hope you can kick it and take photos like this for a living. Unless you want to keep your day job.

Why wasn't I there?! Long Cut solo acoustic? Can't Keep From Talking? Did Jeff croak/whisper the chorus with that scratchy-voice thing? I love that shit. http://forums.viachicago.org/style_emotico...ult/thumbup.gif http://forums.viachicago.org/style_emotico...ult/thumbup.gif

Not a complaint (see other threads for that) but a request

Real encore = Gimme Three Steps, last UT song ever played live. Right? Band plays, with Bottle Rockets I think, then Jeff or Jay, somebody, says "That's gotta be it." And that was it. -
I Got You Spiders Not for the Season (from Sunken Treasure, with Glenn). Am I the only one who sees Led Zep in this one?

Songs that didn't knock me out on the record, but knock me out live: Sunken Treasure (especially solo) Via Chicago Hummingbird I'm a Wheel I Got You
