  1. That dude is running against Barry and Joey. You expect some real truth there? Some of the material looks like it is potentially legit, but there are many half truths throughout the piece.
  2. Many are troubled by the FISA deal. I am. However, compared to McCain, Barry still seems to present more integrity in regard to the citizens of the US...oh and other people too.
  3. Nuke power takes awhile. The push to get wind and solar would be much quicker than nuke or domestic drilling. McC is fossil fuel, Obama, not so much and much more in favor of wind and solar. This also will assist the domestic economy and the environment.
  4. Ok, Greenspan is dissing McCain's economic plan. This speaks for itself. McCain is reading Greenspan's latest book, which I have also read. This is lame. This is as lame as Palin not knowing shit about what is going on. And like Bobbo says nothing is black and white but someone dissed Obama supporting nuke power...he is suggesting a minimal input of nuke, unlike McCain who wants much more, is pimping coal oil and is backseating wind, solar, and bio.
  5. Our state seems to going toward Obama in the last week. I still don't have much faith, though unless we can get huge StL and KC turnout and the pollworkers avoid cheating. We had some fishy stuff going on here in 06. It seems real easy to cheat. I am tempted to sit around there all day and keep an eye on things. How do they appoint pollworkers?
  6. I'm feeling good about recent polls. 7 point cut in MO. Nevada slipped though. Obama's humorous, then serious diss of McCain's pig lip accusation this morning is telling me the O is turning the corner on this shit. He was down for a week w/ the Reps' flurry following the 1-2 punch of VP nomination and convention. As many pollsters have said, McCain has seen his spike and it wasn't even enough to do much damage to the electoral polls. The yard sign went out today; the persuasive attempt to get voters has begun, in earnest. And, typically, when a fed program is instituted they get experts in
  7. Speaking of terrorists, did Homeland Security finally decide the terror alert was bogus? The Repubs lost a powerful campaign tool. In 04 they would move it up and down depending on the polls, debates, and shtuff.
  8. Pigs do wear lipstick and Lieberman is a jackass. McCain is for oil and nuclear; Obama is comprehensive McCain is ready for more war; Obama is for diplomacy McCain's VP sucks; Obama's is knowledgeable about a lot of political shit. McCain represents the 50's; Obama is ready to face the future.
  9. Which has livened the base. Thanks Roverians. Personality not issues. Aholes
  10. So why don't we allow the choice? Like it already is. Since you've alluded to the idea that what people think is right is an individual choice. Do you not see, that you are trying to impose your choice upon them?
  11. Yeah, like the hairy people of the 70's. Sit around, knock each other up. Man, I should become a Rep. No, having children out of wedlock is only for wealthy people.
  12. Anyone seen O'Reilly get almost 'this fuckin thing sucks' mad at Jon Stewart. He started clinching his teeth and everything. Skip to last minute or so if you don't want to listen to his typical b.s. news story. http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/09/09/b...cynthia-tucker/
  13. Biden did a good job on MTP on Sunday. He is Catholic. His personal/religious belief is that abortion should not happen. However, he understands that not everyone holds this view, we are in a secular society. You do have a choice. You have to choice to keep your child or abort. Both sides can choose. Why change the law so only one side is choosing? Later I discussed this with a Lutheran coworker. He stated it isn't the policy the candidates seek to change or maintain, it is their belief. He is voting Rep. regardless of whether the issue goes anywhere in a McPalin presidency.
  14. We might want to work on him to find his former self since Florida appears to be tightening. He appears to be a tough sell, so far.
  15. Later LaDuca. Nothing scares me more than a college Republican, especially in these times.
  16. I am tired of parents having to work 60 hours a week and not having the time or energy to help their kids become adults and having the public school responsible for it and vaccinations to keep kids in school and parents at work and the all that. It's a machine to keep working people working and it affects families. I am also tired of the recruiting system for teachers...anyone who can graduate a 4yr. Yeah, still in good company, but the lack of financial rewards for educators speaks volumes about how we truly do not value education.
  17. "There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke." Some people are passionate about changing the direction from an imperial hierarchy (oligarchy per Jon Stewart) to a country that fights to help people and themselves, not kill people and take their shit. It is important. Feel it.
  18. Yeah, but some people have seen it but side with "that is subjective". Yeah, Ok.
  19. I used to view this as humorous, but this tactic has calloused me. Cannot understand why people continue to buy this type of shit.
  20. He's a limp dick. What grit it takes to sell on ebay.
  21. So is Hannity, O'Reilly, Scarborough, Dobbs, Blitzer,,,,,,on and on and on... but we don't think they should be muted. They represent a population that feels them. Fascism.
