I work for my college newspaper and was wondering what was the best way to approach them for an interview. I'm based in Ireland and Wilco are playing here for 2 nights in a small venue ( can't be more than 1,500 ) twice so I'm assuming that the demand for interviews won't be astronomic because they're not that popular over here (gigs haven't sold out yet). I really hate Jay's voice and I'm not a big fan of UT. For me they haven't aged that well and I'd have a lot of trouble telling the difference between the songs. I have a compilation of em and I find most of the songs to be avarage at best. Songs like Whiskey Bottle are just like a walking Cliche of of a country band with alcohol problems.I really don't know how Wilco spawned from this .
