Someday Some Morning Sometime, where did it go?
jmacomber68w replied to jmacomber68w's topic in Lyrics and Tabs
Yes, but I remember there being a line by line tab. The only reason I'm being a stickler is because I am going to print out a tab book. For personal use obviously, don't worry I'm not planning on selling any of everyone's hard work I am just puzzled at why these links are not working -
Someday Some Morning Sometime, where did it go?

I am having the same problem with Henry & The H Bombs, anyone else or is it just me? I tried in IE and google chrome, still no dice -
The album hello starling is going to be re-released with a bonus live acoustic album. The same deal as Golden Age of Radio. I hope he makes this a trend

I wouldn't say it I had a problem with my software not working, just more of a problem of the software not letting me know I wasn't updated. I hope it is smooth riding for you! -
I searched for this tab, but I keep getting a message saying "this webpage has a redirect loop". I keep trying to refresh but I have no luck. I'm assuming it is a problem with my internet connection, other viachicago links work though. Would someone be so kind as to post the tweedy solo tab?

I'll rephrase for you, while I think Being There has a better collection of songs, as an album I enjoy WTA more at this moment in time. Whenever I attend a Wilco show, I hope for the show to be Being There, Summerteeth heavy, but as a studio album, I enjoy WTA

I think having a winter new england run is something for the band to consider. They have not played Boston since 2007, so by February of 2010 a New England trip seems kinda likely

I voted for the 2nd one, however if I could pick my 4 it would be: YHF, AGIB, ST, and BT (I think WTA is better than being there, however I would want a bit of variety) Strange, yes, BUT we have come a long way my friend http://forums.viachicago.org/topic/27263-rank-the-wilco-albums/page__p__835565__hl__rank__fromsearch__1entry835565

Millionaire.... ...just kidding, one by one is my vote for best Wilco wedding song

I have no clue what Student Loan Stereo is. I consider ELT more of a pop tune, I'm talking a Spiders, Bull Black Nova, Kicking Television type song. However, I do understand that the band that recorded ST is very different lineup wise than the band that created those 3 songs. Anyways what is Student Loan Stereo?

Now that I think of it, that record store that I vaguely referred to is looney tunes! I walked by it late one night, and it was still open, the employees were blasting music onto the street it seemed to be a pretty hopping place.

While I consider ST to be an excellent album, here are some things that keep ST out of my "perfect album" category... - We're Just Friends (boring song) - Alt version of Shot in the arm, alt versions on albums drive me nuts! - In a Future Age (Tweedy's solo version I enjoy, but the album version not so much) - When You Wake Up Feeling Old not being a pure honky tonk country tune - Lack of a rocking, grab you by the neck rock song I know I"m nit picking, but hey, I have to split hairs only because it is such a good album!

2010 : New Year's Eve show at the MAdison Square Garden?
jmacomber68w replied to samuel70's topic in Just A Fan
I have no relative comment relating to a Wilco NYC show. However, I must point out how much I enjoyed reading the 2 posts above me, both including a Wilco lyric reference -
I heard they closed? I could be thinking of another record store. Are Looney Tunes the small (and i stress small lol) preowned specialty store? I remember a purple, bluish type logo, could be thinking of something else

lol Newbury comics is mecca! I'm from Rhode Island, but between Redsox games and concerts I am in Boston about 5+ times a year. I know the Havard Square area is an amazing part of the city. The Boston Commons and the surrounding area is full of nice stops. Right off of the commons is the Orpheum which is a fun venue to see a show. My sense of the city is a bit like a puzzle, but I do know the general area of Landsdown street and Newbury Street have plenty of things to check out. Someone who actually lives there should be able to give you more tips than me, but hey I'm a start.

I worked out the kinks. I knew I had to get the latest drivers, and I thought I did that, but apparently I did not. I had the worst computer troubles yesterday, first my soundcard was messed up, then I couldn't get my Cubase software working. As of right now, I seem to have no problems, I found some nice forums for Presonus and Cubase products and they have proven quite helpful. -

So I went down to the guitar shop, I looked around and told the guy that I pretty much knew nothing about home recording. He recommended the Presonus audiobox USB. It comes bundled with Cubase LE 4 ($150, right in the middle of my price range). Can anyone direct me to some how to videos. I think I'm WAY over my head, I keep getting error messages, and I'm following the instructions but I cannot record anything. I really know nothing about home recording and this interface looks like pro level stuff. -
Ya, kinda lame that there was no RI, CT, or eastern mass shows. I guess we did luck out with the tweedy solo show though!

I do a lot of driving for work in the summer. I usually bounce between npr, weei, and my ipod. I agree, lovable buffoons is the best way to describe most of the people on that station. I can't stand the morning show though, I get scared that people actually think the way Dennis and Callahan do! On the flip side, I remember having Mike Adams save my late night, night class commutes last semester, his shows are always a treat NOOO I missed that part I love Tony, I just picked up a copy of his book (No Reservations). It cost me a whole dollar at a book fair

I have cut class

I asked this in the "future age section" but usually isn't much traffic there. Anyways, could someone direct me to the Alpha Tango Romeo artwork? (If it exists of course) Thanks
-
Sean McAdam of WEEI radio said that Wilco is the best band in the country a few days back. I wonder if he is a VCer? Most people on that radio station are pretty ignorant though, they shot down his comment
-
I found Alpha Romeo Tango, it is actually on owlandbear, just never noticed the ETC section
-
BTW, what is Alpha Romeo Tango? Some sort of YHF rare release or something? If it is a bootleg, could someone post it? It is not on owlandbear oddly enough, thanks in advance!

Boston 07 (Wilco) New Haven 08 (Wilco) North Hampton 09 (Jeff Tweedy Solo) Lowell 09 (Wilco) I have set lists and the dates in my sig, I think this should be mandatory, always fun seeing who else attended your show!
