I just thought of this thread. Under 5 minutes ago I opened up my window, and I forgot that I did not have a screen in! In flies the biggest moth I have ever seen. Now normally I would just leave my door open and let the guy do his thing, but it is close to bedtime and I don't want him flying all over me. If I see him, he is DONE!

My memory could be a bit foggy, but haven't the Jets beat the Pats at least 2 or 3 times over the past few years? I think espn is going a little bit overboard claiming that the Jets are now the big boys in the AFC East, its still week 2! As far as I am concerned, this division could go to anyone, even those 0-2 Phins! Now, open question to all of you, will ESPN call the Saints out for "running up the score"? I hope not, in pro football I think that is just silly talk, but they did it in 07 for the Pats...

I was cleaning my basement tonight, and I found an old keyboard Its an old guy, but it works. I think I'm going to give that a go for 6 months or so, learn some basics, and that probably go the MIDI route. I do some occasional guitar recording, so I have all of the necessary pieces for that. Now, would any keyboard that claims to have midi ability work as a controller, or should I get a higher quality newer model. I see several craiglist postings, but they all look like they are 10 or so years old.

I have been playing guitar for several years now and I would like to make an instrument change. I love every aspect of playing guitar, but I figure learning a new instrument would never hurt! What concerns me is this, my price range would probably max out at around $200. Based on my limited knowledge of keyboards, could I even get a solid instrument with that range? I'm not looking for a toy that I can play around with, but more of an instrument to learn on. Musiciansfriend has some stuff, but I really don't know what is junk, what is a toy, and what is legit for my needs

I liked what they showed, but there wasn't enough journalism plot! After season 2 and 4 I felt like I knew the ins and outs of the ports and school system, however after season 5 I felt like I barely got a glance at the Baltimore Sun's inner workings.

My 2 cents.... I'm Wide Awake, Fevers & Mirrors, Cassadaga, and Lifted are the only Bright Eyes worth owning, not to say the others are bad, but hey that's a good start. The Desparacidos album is good, along with both Mystic Valley Band albums (one is just titled Conor Oberst) In terms of EPs most are pretty good, but for the most part they are on the Fevers & Mirrors side of the spectrum, not the Mystic Valley Band/Cassadaga sound. IMO the Lua EP and Cassadaga EP are both A+
