Dear god Al Davis is a stupid stupid stupid man

There must be something done about the way NFL rookies salaries work. I propose this... - A fixed, predetermined salary for picks 1 though 100 (rounds 1-3) - Picks in the first round get bonuses - Picks 101 on make the minimum - All first year salary is guaranteed - Have all rookie contract lengths be 3 years - Contract discussion with the player can being only after the players 2nd year in the NFL This could be completely flawed, just something I thought of while waiting forever to see a doctor today

It was clips, but depending on your amount of Lost viewing, may be worth viewing, and...

As a whole, the Lost series is spectacular, but this season so far is awful (I understand it must be leading up to something), I'll stay strong though. I know at some point I'll be rewarded with some great episodes. I still find it incredibly frustrating when the original Lostees do not reveal to anyone their time traveling situation

not to be "that guy", http://forums.viachicago.org/index.php?sho...087&hl=jazz but this could help ya out, have a great time! Wish I could be in NO!

If he was Jay Bennett he would only want to play "rockers" and them him and Jeff would fight over only playing rockers

They were playing the Newbury Comics in Warwick on record store day. Sadly my mom just got home from major back surgery, so I could stay too long enough to buy the Ashes DVD. They are from the great state of Rhode Island, so I automatically like them

In my unprofessional opinion, you should only draft a QB in the high in the first round unless you are sure he will be your starter for the next ten years. I say go defense!

Anyone know the likelihood of Wilco playing a non GA show in Mass this July? I know there was supposed to be a few more dates added. I'd much rather see Wilco anywhere BUT a baseball stadium. Unless your playing a historic venue (MSG) I think playing in sports arenas is just plain silly.
-
Funny enough, the local nbc news here in rhode island had a pretty long clip of various members of Wilco talking about Record Store Day. I imagine it was just footage given out to various NBC stations, still cool though.

Agreed, I'm happy the lions kept their color scheme though. I like what I heard on PTI today, they should just make those turkeyday unis the normal ones, no logos on the helmets, standard silver/blue. I wanted to post a picture of the horrendous New England Patriots silver alternates, just to do a comparrison (since I feel those silver ones are some of the worst in sports), but then I ran accross this rumor http://thegreyhoodie-patriots.blogspot.com...ed-in-2009.html love the helmets on these ones though, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1960_Boston_Patriots_season

I have seen this in my small town up north. I find it funny how the hipsterization has even grabbed hold of the youths. I find so many (at least to my eyes) 10-14ish young lads dressed in obnoxiously bright colors, all listening to Vampire Weekend and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and most importantly, visiting pitchfork.com

So happy to see Jeff's dad, anyone from the Northampton show was treated to some of his wisdom!

do you have a go-to song or riff that you play?
jmacomber68w replied to MattZ's topic in Solid State Technology
Off the top of my head, PJ- Yellow Ledbetter Hey Joe dead-Sugaree NY-cortez the killer, down by the river. Cortez is definitely my fav song to jam around with minor scales, the em, d, am progression if its acoustic, ill fiddle those song, or random dave matthews, and always needle and the damage done -

I'm really looking forward to another show in Boston, the Bank of America Pavilion is a great place to see a show

I just got an email back from the people running the Lowell show, according to them the show will be general admission only. This proves convenient for myself, since I would not want to commit to the Lowell show until I hear about what other shows are available.
-
Christ, so much of this story line could be fixed if the time traveling Lostees just explained their story to the Dharma people. I still don't know why they have not done that yet
-
Hmm, wilcoworld is being a tad slow with posting more ticket information. I'm a little surprised that tix go on sale this Saturday considering the dates were just announced. Any sure fire information about which of these shows are GA and which have seats?

Ditto, Im sure I'll think of more. Love the classic, "Excuse me while I KISS THIS GUY" from jimi though lol
