looks like he/they played both songs @ Bonnaroo: along w/ Mic Christopher's "Heyday", one of my favorite songs the Frames cover:

yup... confetti like mad on that VMA performance too, def Flaming Lips-y -
shit, i meant Astral Weeks, that's the title of the one you said is called "Born Again" Into The Mystic is the one they've been playing more often this tour, but Glen has played Astral Weeks a few times solo in the past
-
that Van song is 'Into The Mystic' and yeah, great great cover i liked the Mpls show a few months ago, but it honestly kinda paled compared to the Frames live

touche! but my point still stands the outfits they're wearing now aren't too far off what AF wore last tour -

that performance owes a lot of elements to Arcade Fire, whom Chris has publicly often called "the best band in the world" over the last 2 years. Chris stole his current stage presence/persona from Bono, so you're right that they do wanna be U2 in many ways as well. also: vs. -
Go for the Exit is def great....

no disagreement, they've been a couple over a year now

Coldplay are trying so hard to be Arcade Fire now it's kinda sad -
it's pretty close for me... hard to pick a favorite between the last 2

were are you seeing the map? edit: nm, i see now as for RATM vs. Wilco... honestly, while i really do love both, i kinda wish there was a 3rd option at that time so i didn't have to choose between the two i'll prolly hit up the first 30-45 min of RATM's set, arguably their most energetic portion, then head over to Wilco man Sunday's lineup kinda blows. i don't really give a crap about anyone until 4:30. may have to sleep in
-
honestly i can't even place "All Night" i just remember it was on Lost Dogs and i believe a No Code outtake
-
i was talking about Columbia, SC, that A-man posted, not Bonnaroo
-
last nights PJ setlist was the best of the tour so far!

Gardiner, MT is a very neat little (and i mean LITTLE) town, on the outside of the north entrance to Yellowstone Park the drive from Livingston to Gardiner is absolutely gorgeous. i'd imagine since it's that close, you'll be taking a trip through the Park, at least somewhat? i used to do computer deliveries to Gardiner and the park quite often when i lived in Bozeman, it was such a treat

there's often a very simple a reason songs are rare or have never been played before great PJ songs > rare PJ songs also, while Matt's take on 'Who You Are' was tolerable, at least compared to his abortion of 'In My Tree', i thought it sounded kinda poor. that stupid "improv" thing Ed did was awful too. as for WMA... it's a top 5 PJ song for me, so i'm hoping Matt's drumming on it is decent. i loved the version i saw Jack do in '95
-
surprised if that's not his reason, by ending at 1:15 instead of 12:30, PJ caused Kanye's show to be delayed from 2:45 until 4:45, lol. dude picked the late night set anyway, he was initially scheduled at 8:15. i like the guy, but come on...

awesome. http://www.blogotheque.net/Bon-Iver,4255

it's loads better than their last 2, that's for damn sure... it's not great (prolly would give it a high 6/10), but it's a step in the right direction at least
