in terms of grassroots campainging/volunteering and bringing out millions of people who have never voted before in their lives (just in the PRIMARIES), i'd say, yes... Obama has changed the game dramatically
-
Oliver James slays me
-
in case you've missed it, folks on here have been loving the LP for the last 2-3 months too i like it more than the EP, but both are fantastic. def in my top 3-5 on the year so far i think
-
not as bad as Outlook tho!
-
there's a lot of great hip hop bands w/ a live band one of the better local Mpls ones, Heiruspecs, are friggin' great
-
ok, well i never saw her as a "no brainer VP" is all... in fact i always thought it was an awful and far fetched idea i'd like an Obama/Richardson ticket
-
no brainer VP? i don't know about that... sure it *MIGHT* help Obama's chances, but it also could hurt them too... and there's far too much baggage (aka: Bill) to be logistical, not to mention it'd piss off a LOT of the first time voters who are attracted to Obama simply because he's not been a lifetime Washington politician.

you can sync your BlackBerry using either PocketMac (they offer it for a free download due to a contract w/ RIM), but i prefer Missing Sync for the BB, it's $39 or so and works better for me than PM. as for exporting and importing, check on the Mac first to see what all formats it can import to for certain things (mail, bookmarks, etc.), before you export from the PC, but you should be able to do everything eventually, even if it takes a bit of work.

yeah, they've always reminded me of The Band to be honest... also, some of the guitar (and at times bass & drum) tones on here sound like they could have come straight off of a Wings or McCartney solo record
-
i like the 2 or 3 really dark sounding tracks too, adds a nice touch

hope it's better than the 2nd one -
exactly. and the fact is... even WITH the FL & MI results counted AS IS in full (which would have been pretty ridiculous and totally unfair, especially to Barack in MI), Hillary would still have lost the primary, so it's kind of a moot point now.
-
what? they can't even be compared... watch this:
-
good freakin' call
-
well, he explains in his intro why he left a lot of those bands off... honestly i think it's a pretty decent list, even if he left off a few obvious ones for me.
-
fair enough... i guess i've heard plenty enough specifics from him, but i've also been following him more closely than the average voter probably would and watched dozens and dozens of his speeches, etc.
-
so far so (very) good! bit darker and not quite as fun/upbeat as the last one, but loving it nonetheless
-
are you new to how the US Presidential process works? nobody truly gives that many specifics until the general election... but read Barack's website for a lot of info edit: jinx!
-
getting let into the arena JUST as Michelle & Barrack took the stage, watching/listening to his speech, feeling that energy... unlike anything i've ever felt, including rock concerts, etc. cliche/lame as it might be to say, but when you truly break it down and realize what he accomplished, it truly is one of the biggest moments in political (and US) history, and something i feel blessed to even remotely be a part of.
