it will make a difference, but i'm guessing 4-5% at the most, which obviously is enough to sway the tide, but i'd like to have more faith in people i guess...

Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward = She & Him

true, without Zooey's name, it's actually even more than Matt has ever charged here in town... -

Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward = She & Him

oh i'd pay $35 for M. Ward solo, but i've seen She & Him and trust me, while enjoyable, it's not worth a lot of $$, even with Matt's inclusion (his presence is somewhat subtle compared to his solo shows) they'll do some covers, but no way they play 90 minutes, unless Matt does a short solo set. the record is only what, 35-40 minutes or something? it'll be 65-70 minutes tops i'm thinking, maybe even just right at an hour as for "spendy", maybe it differs a lot in Chicago, but i rarely pay more than $12-15 for shows here, even bigger names. maybe once or twice a month that i spend $20+ -
haha, not sure what took me so long to finally listen, Matt sent me that shit in March or something

really? desperate? if you've been paying attention the last 6 months, or if you know many conservatives, you'd know that the ones who are going to be desperate are those moderates who don't mind what McCain has become. all the true conservatives i know are planning to stay home at this point. if it was the McCain of 2000, i wouldn't even mind him that much to be perfectly honest.

a bit late on the band wagon for this one i know, but fuck it's so good...

right, but race doesn't make you a senile and forgetful old and stubborn man

McAuliffe is apparently super conflicted today then: http://thehill.com/campaign-2008/mcauliffe...2008-06-03.html which with the surge of supers today (there's been over 10 so far this morning, and they keep rolling in), he'll most likely hit that #, he's only off by a few now, when you include the 16-20 pledged delegates he'll pick up in SD & MT

somewhat amazed at all the blue cheese lovers here... i like it in certain instances (eating out usually), but it's not a cheese i'd buy at the store just to eat or use in cooking myself

SO SO glad we're getting Ted Leo in DC & NYC instead of KOL
-
that is a very common thing in primaries actually...
-
not so fast... thing is, i think we'll continue to see a flood of Supers throughout today that will force her to concede irregardless

i'd def put this in line with the Green Album, which was still a huge drop from the first 2 solid 6.5 for me

the Blind Boys album, in it's rawest form... is pretty stunning, but it's not a record i go back to often BTS is awesome, but i definitely would take the first 3 over it. it's still heads above the quality of his post '00 work though. The Will To Live and Fight For Your Mind are definitely 2 of the best albums of the 90's

MM were SO so disappointing last spring here at the Orpheum, even w/ Marr they've always been hit or miss for me (first time i saw them was in '97), but that one was particularly bad

"only"? that's kind of spendy for a band with one record out who will play no longer than like 60 minutes... their show is $15 here -
i think it's his weakest album out of his entire catalog to be perfectly honest... Diamonds On The Inside had some stinkers too, but the first disc on BSOTG has maybe 2-3 good songs... the 2nd disc is pretty good for the most part. at least his last record redeemed his '00 work somewhat. still sad how much his songwriting has dropped off from those 90's albums tho

pretty good, but definitely not enjoying it nearly as much as their first one yet (which was a guilty pleasure)

to be honest, while it's an amazing park, some of the sites you see while wandering there are kinda sad/aggravating though too
