apparently she only gained 4 delegates on Obama from today though
-
fuck Ohio and fuck Texas
-
BoH have a decent amount of The Shins in their sound too though, fwiw (moreso on the first record)
-
haha... i know... AFD was pretty mixed across the board, but Kraig Johnson had a big hand in that record overall. Vagabonds has no similarities to AFD whatsoever
-
the EP is decent, but the full length is fantastic seeing them with Blitzen Trapper soon
-
wondered if maybe they let this die, as it was talked about quite a bit in '06 sounds cool... hopefully if they have any sort of "personalities", they get some people with actual... you know... personalities?
-
the drums & bass are very reminiscent of "Breathe" by Pink Floyd as well.
-
that makes me infinitely more excited for the show (and i was already quite excited!) did they do any Frames songs not on Once do you recall?
-
he may be playing SXSW though i think?
-
hoping maybe the new WAS record gets me into them...
-
well this is cool... from the Pitchfork interview with Glen & Mar, Glen states that the Frames will be backing Glen & Marketa on their US tour would be awesome if they bust out some other Frames songs then!!

my friend Travis was there last night as well said their duet on Magic Trick was great! i'll see them next week in Austin -
those guys are getting a pretty good buzz over in the UK eh? i know they opened for Editors on a tour they're virtually unown here. buddy of mine is good friends with them (he/they are both from Omaha). last time they played here a few months ago, was only like 150 people there.

i did like that Jeff actually sang/annunciated "i haaaate it heeere" much better than the studio/usual live versions
-
hmm... i watched his ACL from last year within the last week or two and didn't think his voice was all that great... he mumbles like a motherfucker now too, could hardly understand him.
-
woah... those photos are fantastic! email me: kyle@arcadefire.net soooo jealous of you! the Sam Cooke song was "A Change Is Gonna Come"
-
wasn't overly impressed by their performances (song selection didn't help), but it was great seeing them on SNL! and yeah, the horns definitely do make both songs WAY better than their studio counterparts. Jeff's suit was definitely hilarious/awesome
-
better than Lions at least (which i could hardly listen to, mostly the vocals)... but not in love with it by any means. hoping it grows on me

nice work!! went to the box office here in Mpls at just before 8 this morning (onsale was at 11), the unfortunate thing was they usually go onsale at the State Theater box, whose lobby is open all the time, but today they used the Oprheum Box Office (luckily just one block south), bad thing was their lobby didn't open until a little after 10 . oh well, once the sun came out it wasn't too too cold, and we scored 2nd row pit AND saved $14 per ticket

Pitchfork is wrong and doesn't know how to read Press Releases correctly
