nope

weird, their backing vocals at our show were great. granted the place held like 350 and there was probably only 200 people there tops. as for their jumping around, i love it, nothing "sophmoric" about that imo. they ARE a young band...
-
it is a very similiar chord progression just sped up for Two, i definitely can hear it. but it doesn't bother me at all
-
have seen 'em thrice now, they're a lot of fun live!
-
i know, but it's still the principle of it and yes, that is my absolute favorite line/part of the song too
-
album is fantastic
-
alright... i've come around on Two quite a bit the last week... if i just ignore that it's Sheryl on the chorus i might love it
-
we don't get that track here

sounds RIGHT up my alley... thanks
-
ahaha, wtf that name is both awesome and annoying at the same time what's it like?
-
haha, i'll hook you up with it either way
-
they're here next Monday, but it's the same night as Ryan Adams, so i might not be able to hit up their set, but i'm gonna try! they're doing a radio in-studio here on campus during the day however.
-
they're not the first one to do this by any means Barenaked Ladies did it in '05: http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/pop/249219_tf222.html also, local Mpls band, Zibra Zibra are having a cd release show here at First Ave on 7/7/7 where they are releasing their new album in the following ways: it's a very cool/novel idea and i'm pretty excited to help out with it
-
ah... yeah see their power pop is what got me into them in the first place years ago i do dig a lot of the melodies a ton, it's just a much more mellow affair
-
i like it more than Twin Cinema so far as well, but i too am not bowled over by it either (although i'm far from disappointed by it too however) it's a very enjoyable & pleasant record though, perfect for the summer
-
MMJ at their worst are better than MM at their best. not that MM are bad live, but they've always been really hit or miss.
-
yeah... for $49.99 for a 512 meg drive i just bought a 2 gig recently for $25
-
so there's absolutely no other acts you'd want to see on Sunday?
-
that's what i hear... i'm gonna wait until my promo comes (hopefully this week) though, because i hate webrips
