A-Rod's offseason workouts include clubbing baby seals and taking candy from babies. The latter of which is actually quite helpful, especially if you've ever had to deal with a kid on a sugar high. The seal thing is like a first class ticket to hell though.

I'd pay $80 to hear good versions of old Police songs (including So Lonely, Message in a Bottle, etc.) I'd be pissed though if I got a lame dad-jazz version of old Police songs. Can they help stop themselves from ruining their songs on this tour?

Reading that stuff makes me very excited that this could be a huge return to form, but then I kinda remember the last few Bad Brains studio albums, and HR standing almost motionless while wearing a motorcycle helmet during their final CBGB shows, etc., and then I just hope this doesn't totally suck.

What I find cool (really) is that 4 or 5 of TheMaker's favorite songs are among my least favorite. I don't know why I think that's cool, but I do (no, really!).

Yeah, I guess you're right now that I'm listening to the rest of that record. It would have actually been a good candidate for a non-album single (remember when bands used to do those?) that could have come out a couple of months before the new album.
