Was it me? I thought that it took a while for everyone to get into the groove of the show...but holy shit did the Being There quartet ROCK! I was also really glad to hear Summer Teeth, as I hadn't had the good fortune [5th time seeing them...] to have done that yet. Remember the Mountain Bed was gorgeous as well. IMO, great setlist [Walken never gets old!]. Waiting in line from 2:30-ish on was quite a lot of fun with everybody around...it was nice to meet all of them! I don't even have tv! I mean, I have a tv, but I don't feel like paying $50 a month for shitty basic cable [which barely includes Style network]. That said, if Clean House was on DVD, that would be the end of me. I'd be on the couch eating cheddar quakes and twix bars 24/7.

I am aching with the void of not having seen Clean House in six months. Does anyone know of a possible cure for my ailment? p.s. Mark Burnetz is my heart.

It would be like an outdoor living room show! I agree...getting a bunch of us together to jam would be saaawweeet! I think Lincoln Park in Chicago would be a nice venue for a picnic/jam/convocation of VC peeps. Or perhaps for the Wisconsin folk, somewhere in the Kettle Moraine.

Tuesday afternoon the sickness hit me like a ton of bricks [and quickly dispelled any thought of hitching a ride to Chicago with happeningstone]. I felt pretty sick yesterday[also with one of those damn headaches], but I miraculously made it out of bed after missing my first class this morning, and felt like getting out of the pajamas and doing my hair for a change. I really want an orange julius, though. I'm craving citrus like no other.

I've already tried the free food thing. I can't believe that free Jimmy John's subs wouldn't bring the masses, but I guess the idea of a pyramid-scheme candle party is just that repulsive. Maybe alcohol would be a good idea...I'll turn it into a Partylite keggar! Miss consultant has been bugging me for these people's addresses and such, which is probably making them even more wary of showing up at this thing. Drastic situations call for drastic measures, Treehug'n...too bad I don't have a handgun, or I might just take your approach.
