Thanks! I'm particularly proud of the 9-part guitar harmony.

It's a new song that I just released. I'm just doing this music thing, song by song now. Something will become an album when it's full enough. This is song #2 for this one. http://hoponpop.bandcamp.com/track/spinning-standing-still I hope that you check it out and that you like it. Or, even that you just check it out. A lot of damn work went into it. Thanks for humoring me!

The La's Jellyfish The Knack Mazzy Star Marshall Crenshaw Matthew Sweet The Godfathers Dexy's Midnight Runners Nick Lowe Crowded House And, if you are going to be a little more dubious about what constitutes a 1-hit wonder: Meat Puppets Stone Roses Gorillaz Oasis -
Los Lobos - La Pistola y El Corazon I suppose that, in some ways, it does fit. But still, an entire album of nothing but traditional Mexican tunes, played on all traditional acoustic Mexican instruments… not quite the same thing. Nonetheless, a brilliant record. also: Yo La Tengo - Fakebook Another brilliant departure. Mostly acoustic recordings, but definitely all laid back. Of mostly cover songs.

About halfway through the new season of Orange Is the New Black. Just as good as the first. Digging it with a big shovel. Also started The United States of Tara. About a suburban mother with multiple personalities. I like the approach they take with this one -- like it's just a normal family dealing with just another family problem. It's just the way that things are in their house. "It makes us interesting," is what their teenage boy says about the situation. Good show. And Toni Collette is always great.

Awesome! Will check it out!
