  1. Those meds suck. Trust me. But, also trust me when I tell you that the MS itself can affect your brain's ability to function rationally. Can cause some serious cognitive issues. But I forget what they are. And yeah, those tweets from her are disappointing.
  2. My all-time favorite show. On the one hand, I would have loved to have more seasons. On the other hand, the way the season and series ended was just perfect -- kinda like The Graduate. Open ended. Where to now? Love it.

  4. Future Islands - Singles No, I had never heard of them before that Letterman appearance. Yes, that performance stunned me (in a very good way). No, the album did not disappoint. Love it.   5. Listening now, and the production on this thing sounds like 1990. That's not a knock on it, just an observation. Very much like The Church or Echo and The Bunnymen or something -- so atmospheric. Lanois-esque.
  6. Just had my library order up this one for me. Not exactly light summer reading. I actually have been pretty burned out on Holocaust-related stories, since they've been shoved down my throat since childhood all throughout my religious school education. (It was a big part of the curriculum at my Reform Jewish temple.) But this story just intrigues me.
