Saw the first half of the Muscle Shoals doc on my local PBS station. Only got about halfway through it before I had to shut it off so I could get up for work this morning. Got chills on several occasions and I'm only halfway through. Gonna try to watch the rest of this thing ASAP. You all would do well to do the same!

I know that it won't happen, but I would love to see him play small-room or theater-size, solo/acoustic shows. That would be amazing.

The artist is not Berkman, as far as I can tell. There are 3 or 4 other portraits like that lined up in a row, each with a different name underneath it. (You can see one, just to the right of the frame, there.) Saw it and thought it looked a bit like you. And then, with the name...

A couple of friends of mine--one in the UK and one in Australia--were talking about this band and about its leader Steve Harley. I have to ask: Is this you, Louie? It's a mural in Rogers Park, right across from the Red Line Tap. Click the thumb, and you can see that there is a name under the portrait that says "Berkman." And it sure does kinda look like our Lou? And if I remember correctly, you've been a long-time fixture in that neighborhood. So…?
