What he needs is a wealthy patron with a large audience, like a famous film director or somebody who can bring is music to a mass audience in one fell swoop. Or a commercial placement, like with Nick Drake's "Pink Moon" or Trio's "Da Da Da." -
So, whilst my wife and kids were out of town this weekend, I used the opportunity to watch a bunch of movies that none of them wanted to see: • Searching For Sugar Man • Sound City • Indie Game: The Movie • Slap Shot • Cool Hand Luke That last one I had only caught in bits and pieces, so I finally sat down to watch the whole thing at once. GodDAMNIT, what a movie! George Kennedy earned that Oscar. Great flick. And... desperately waiting to see this one. Sadly, I'll have to wait until it's on Netflix or DVD. But it looks amazing.

But, you know, they do suck.

Give him a break, Jules. I mean, I can't stand them either but he was just a wee lad when the album came out. You gotta understand the sentimentality.

Yeah, I got this though Facebook too and also the news about his surgery. He is an immensely talented guy and I wish that other folks here would at least give a quick listen to Month of Sundays. I think that many of them would become fans. I first heard Chamber Strings through folks on another message board that I frequent. One of the best things that I ever picked up from those folks.
