Congratulations!

Just finished dinner... chicken parmesan. It was decent, but as I used a different sauce, not quite as good as usual. Now, to take the kids to pick up the wife at the airport.

I saw that in the paper. And, honestly, that makes me proud to be a Hawks fan almost as much as the win, itself.

Can you say twice in one day? This evening, with the boys, listening to their top-40 station, I won a Justin Timberlake prize pack, including a DL of his new album, and qualified to be entered into a drawing for a pair of backstage passes at a JT show. I need to buy a lottery ticket.

Just won a pretty nice prize pack this morning: • Pair of passes to an advance screening of The Way Way Back • Pair of passes to Milwaukee Summerfest • An overnight stay at a waterpark hotel All for knowing that "Tell Her No" by The Zombies came out in 1965.

2 in 17 for the win! A helluva game and a helluva series. Even make a hockey fan out of my wife.

That last one is actually a band that I used to be in. I was on their first EP, but not this album and I no longer have anything to do with the band, other with the fact that I am still friends with the guys. It sounds to me like you are exactly describing their sound, if you want to look into something new. They have a Bandcap page if you're interested.
