I used to work for a catalog who, one year, put the ad for baby changing stations right after the ad for condom dispensing machines. Sort of an "if not, then" kind of thing. Fairly embarrassing. But highly amusing.

I generally agree with you, but in this instance, it just seems right.

"TO BORROW SOMETHING ON SOMEONE" def.: When I loan you something with all good intentions, but you really have no choice but to take it and use it (or listen to it, in the case that it is music). Implies a sort of benign or even benevolent imposition. i.e. -- "You've never heard Big Star? I'm gonna borrow this CD on you; I think that you'll love it. Take it!" I've been using this for a while and would love to see it come into common usage.

For me, the pisser about that one is that I transferred AWAY from MIzzou the year before that show. I was pissed, but so glad to catch them in Chicago.

Oh, and in the CD case, I keep my ticket stub from the show. Love it.

My friends and I just referred to him as "The Taper Guy".He was present at pretty much every single larger small-venue show in Chicago throughout the 90s, with his stereo digital microphone set up at the soundboard, on a stand that towered about the audience.
