Just make a couple of mixes. That's what I always did. I made a new one for each road trip that I took -- so each mix took on it's own particular poignancy for me.

How many of you go out on WEEKNIGHTS to see bands?
PopTodd replied to PopTodd's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I have 2. I pretty much only go to my own shows. And the VERY rare "special" show that I just can't miss. -

So now that the show is booked, when I post about the show as it gets closer, are y'all gonna call me out on that then, too? -
List your single favorite; rank your Top 5, or whatever. But an explanation as to what about the album MAKES it your favorite would be nice. For me: Younger Than Yesterday Just the songs. I don't know. It's the first of their albums that has NO involvement, whatsoever, from Gene Clark. And, while his presence is certainly missed, there's an intangible quality to the record that just keeps me going with it. The first Chris Hillman compositions are on here and, Clarence White's playing on "Time Between" is freaking sublime. After that one, it's probably: Mr. Tambourine Man Sweethearts Of the

Did your vinyl come with the 7" "Bonus tracks"? I have a vinyl copy as well, and it did. Too bad it's in storage in my crawlspace with the rest of my vinyl that I can't listen to since my (then) 2-year-old blew out my stereo which I haven't been able to replace yet because I have no money because I've been spending it all on words for run-on sentences like this one.

I need a new TV, but I don't think that I'm going with HD. Frankly, I don't really give a shit. As long as the picture is CLEAR, I'm cool.

Anyone yet mention; Glenn Tillbrook (Squeeze) or Elliott Easton (The Cars) ? I don't think that they made my original list, but they are both pretty amazing and probably should have made my list. Listen to "Another Nail For My Heart" or "Best Friend's Girl".

Ever have a friend who is just too talented?
PopTodd replied to PopTodd's topic in Someone Else's Song
Yeah, I know. Perhaps the reference to my upcoming recording was unnecessary. But, did you listen to the clip? I had nothing to do with that thing. No, I don't think that Tr -
