So now I'm all bummed I was out and didn't see the Grammys. I'm curious to see what Sue looks like..simply because I'm reading the book about Wilco and the photos are from about 10 years ago with her in them. lol Anyone have wilco in the audience on youtube?

I don't have one but I have to say I wanted one but I ended up with a Jeep instead! I worked at a book/music store up until October so some of those were pre-releases for us that the record label sends out us to play in our store and we get to have any we want! One reason I miss that job!

Yea that website is like my best friend....haha. I have my iTunes set to auto d/l each week and sometimes I save them up and listen to 3 in a row I love listening to the listener comments at the end of each weeks show. They would do an amazing business if you could win tickets to be in the studio to listen to them when they have guests play for their show/interview. I would have loved to be there when Glenn Kotche played..or when The Swell Season were there!

Moltisanti you should go on iTunes and download The New Pornographers from when they were on Sound Opinions on Chicago Public Radio. You can hear an interview and them playing some of their songs. Actually just subscribe to that weekly show, you hear all about a bunch of different bands and can hear interviews as well as them playing a bit of music. I hope I can afford some tickets for NP when they come to Chicago!

I'm basically a Wilco Street Team all on my own. I'm bringing my friend to the Riv for one of the shows...she doesn't really know their music and last Saturday night I downloaded all my Wilco music onto her iPod so she can learn some of the songs before we go And I only know of Wilco cause I helped a friend win a pair of tickets for their first show on the tour last summer! And I keep talking to people where I work about them.

Anyone want to clarify if it's just beer or if there are other drinks? Thanks for the info so far

Aw Louie.. haha just messin! I think we all know you live in Chicago just from all the great advice you give and how you answer all our questions. Yeah I thought about a bus but figured it would be easier to get a cab directly.

Sometime on Saturday before the show I think would be good. I'm still wondering how many others are staying there. lol. You are going to all 5 nights aren't you? My friend and I are all excited to stay there so we can get a cab to/from the show and save on trying to find parking.

Louie I think you should at least come visit us all since you probably live in Chicago eh?

Well I didn't manage to snag 5 day passes..but have to say, today my Des Moines tix arrived for their show in March from Musictoday...so I would hope you'd all be getting your passes soon!

Oh sorry Louie..didn't mean to confuse. Nah neither are IN Chicago. There are actually 2 though. One in Schaumburg as well as one in Bolingbrook. We will be going the one in Schaumburg, we love going there for all the good restaurants and shops.

So thanks everyone for your help. I am excited to see Wilco at the Riv and have booked myself and a friend in at the Days Inn Lincoln Park! Woo hoo. We are also excited to be going to IKEA and do some random shopping around town.
